Lucy, Great Job, This is the first time I've seen anyone do Gelli Art that was well thought out, and had a realistic image. I love it, thanks for the video!
Lucy that’s so awesome and fantastic and stunning....and whimsical. I really love 💕 this, I really hope you’re going to frame this one too. It’s stunning. I’m going to try to make something similar, but I’ve only had my Gelli Plate since Christmas so I’m still learning. xxx Mags
Loved this! It's really interesting to see how your style has developed from your earlier videos....... Love watching you and you have inspired me to buy a gel plate today !!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Hi Lucy! I'm really enjoying your gelli printing videos; they are so inspiring! I have several sizes of gelli plates that I've been neglecting over the past year or so, but I'm hoping to get back to it soon. The 6x6 plate is such a neat size to play with. I dug out some of my old prints, which are mostly just abstract designs, so this sort-of scene-building idea is very interesting to me! Seeing your creations is getting my creative juices flowing! Thanks so much for sharing. :)
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. Ayou know I have enjoyed your art for some time now; although I don’t aspire to slavishly copying your work, I very much appreciate the opportunity to learn your techniques. Although I’ve been quiet for a while, I’ve been working away at my art and it continues to bring me peace and a sense of joy in my chaotic surroundings! Thank you Lucy.
hi gracie you can use any kind of paper for printing just experiment and see what you like best! I like smooth watercolour or cardstock, or strathmore printmaking paper!
it depends on what I want to make and the effect I want - sometimes I use strathmore printmaking paper, sometimes bristol paper (its good for really detailed prints as its so smooth) sometimes hot pressed watercolour , and sometimes I use deli paper or thin copy paper if I am going to collage. I cant remember what paper i used here though sorry!
