The thing I love about this fan made level is that, when you progress through each mini-layer, you have to pick up the layer themed skull that resides on each. Limbo presents us with a skull covered in thorns, which might seem lazy at first, but it’s initially placed right next to a tall wall, just like the blue skull you can place on a skeleton. Lust’s skull is purple and has light coming out of its holes, representing the lust layer’s overall flashiness as of the lust renaissance. Gluttony’s skull is covered in flesh and has eyes popping out of it and spawns after you kill the hideous mass. Greed’s skull is covered in sand, which matches with the main gimmick of the greed layer; although it would have been nice to pick up a skull from the dead ferryman just like battling ferrymen do to their deceased opponents and THEN have the sinner ocean open up for you. Wrath has no skull, although you leave from there with a door popping out of the sinner ocean just like the actual wrath layer. Heresy has a red looking skull with some scar on it. It doesn’t represent much but it matches well with heresy layer’s color scheme. Violence’s skull gives out a stark nod to the mannequins that have their head upside down while their face is upright. The other thing that I love about this level is that it matches the enemy selections of each layer. Limbo has basic enemies and spawns the hideous mass as a boss. Lust introduces the soldier and the mind flayer. Gluttony spawns in more malicious faces and cerberi as regular enemies Greed has no mind flayers and spams virtues instead followed by a Sisyphean insurrectionist Heresy makes the swords machine a regular enemy and spawns in more mini bosses And violence has the mannequins, gutter men, gutter tanks, puppets and the -Minotaur- .
@@Diamondpinkiepie I think they put it here alongside the mindflayer just to put the two previous mini bosses against you at the same time. It’s more about the design of the level itself rather than looking back into the actual gluttony layer.
So i've replayed that level. There is funny fact - that level was first that i uploaded on RU-vid. Really love this level and violence update is nuts. By the way, in this video i've been trying to show the best possible gameplay that i can provide, so maybe i've done it.
Hell was in a hurry today, so they just did I quick speedrun map for V1 before going to work (V1 had to buy more food later the same day from the school cafeteria)
What if they made secret encounters in the Gluttony, Heresy and Treachery layers that were Carcasses to represent mini Flesh Prision/Panopticon/???? and they spawned a little Prime Soul? Level's new challenge: Beat all Secret Encounters
So i noticed that the only layer not included was wrath, which makes sense because of the water stuff but it woulda been cool to see some kinda boat room or something
@@ultrazlan oh ok It would be cool if they did 2 Secret Encounters (3 when the rest of ACT III releases) that would be the Prime Souls And maybe Carcasses for the Flesh Prision/Panopticon/????
