Pulls way too many amps for the size and price. Check the marine industry, many options that put out much more cooling, pulling less amps and similar pricing. Only ones that will fall for this are armchair webby experts

A split version of this would be perfect, or a version of this that was the right shape for mounting underneath a vehicle, shooting the hot air out the side and the cold air ducted up inside the vehicle, it would be ideal for campers without having to use valuable roof space.

It's not the world's smallest HVAC! This is an everyday boat compressor and evaporator. Nothing special people. Just look small because it does not have a heat exchanger. It requires water cooling from the ocean. This would not work in any other application but a boat. Unless you plan on running up your water bill through the roof just to cool your AC. Other people in here claiming they can actually make one is such a joke. They clearly don't Know Jack about HVAC.

I think Walmart has one about twice this size for about $130, right down the street

This is basically a copy of marine air conditioner. These are been available for years and years some of them run off 12 volt 24 48 110 120 and 230-240. This is basically a marine application is reverse cycle requires water so it's not true electric heat. West Marine and other Marine manufacturers and dealers sell these things through catalogs and online or you can make your own for 500 or less. 🇺🇸

I have a minivan that is in the hot Florida sun all year round. I am sick and tired of getting into a vehicle that is 140℉. I have room for a solar panels on my roof and would like to know if you have a system that is configured for a van or even a motorhome, or trailer (3rd well). What would it take for this to run off of solar while I'm at work. I don't need it chilly, 80℉ would be great. I would have no problem cutting a hole in the roof and mounting it at the top center of the vehicle.

From what I've seen, this doesn't appear all that much smaller than just about any generic low BTU portable AC unit commonly available...with the plastic covering removed.

All these people freaking out over the price are idiots. This is a unit that is being marketed for people looking to cool a room in their home. It is used for a small vessel to cool a cabin. If you are wanting a a/c in a sailboat or small cruiser there isn't many options as you cant use a window or in room unit. These units are priced at this or higher on west marine and other sites but the power consumption is the main key here. He quotes 25amp at 12volts. If he is correct that is 10 amps less than any other I have been able to find and almost half that of west marine's 6000btu unit. If you are looking to run a/c on a sailboat that is strictly ran on a battery bank 10 amps a hour is huge and well worth it

hello, I bought an a300 air conditioner from aliexpress and by mistake I connected the wrong wires to the battery, which led to the burning of some parts on the motherboard. now the compressor doesn't start and it doesn't get cold. can you help me with a tip or a diagram to see what could be burned? and if I can replace the burnt parts at an electronics specialist. So of I would love to make this into a a 20% glycol methanol fluid total of like 3 gallons of glycol and methanol. I won't need the big ass fan. Would need a smaller fan to make everything functional im going to use a flat plate heat exchangers and run the r134a or which ever you think will cool the heat exchanger im going to use a magnetic driven pump also 12v will have a wifi Bluetooth capabil of linking to everything

Extremely well done! I wish it we're cheaper but the product while too expensive for me is well made. If you had a cheaper model without all the bells and whistles like the anodized condenser fins then this could well serve some conditions.
