In this video I explore Mini India in Paris - located near Gare Du Nord Station! :) Add me on Instagram; Londonki_Lali Comment below if you've been to Mini India in Paris and what did you think about it ?
This was interesting. I never knew there was some kind of mini India 🇮🇳 in Paris. I’m guessing most of these are from south India/Sri Lanka rather than from the north.
Being an Indian myself never imagined a mini India in Paris..I think in the next 20-30 years going by the trends it appears that many countries across europe will have significant number of populations from South Asia, middle east and Africa whose culture will also represent Europe...So Europe may become more multi-cultural in appearance despite the rise of far right parties in some of its countries and resistance to immigration among some...
Thank you Lali for loving India. 😊 You are amazing. Even though Britain had done a lot of atrocities to India, we forget and forgive because of you, our cutie Lali😅
Lali I noticed you went looking for the best Chai in London at the Saravana Bhavan in Hounslow. You should know that chain is from Chennai and people in Tamilnadu are not tea drinkers unlike most people in the North. Chennai and Bangalore, we are coffee drinkers😀 I don’t think their Chai is anything special and it’s the wrong place to look for great Chai. I bet their South Indian filter coffee is better than their Chai because South India is coffee drinking state. You can still get good tea but mostly from North Indian restaurants. Saravana Bhavan is not it.
For Pondicherry Ex Soldhas (ex Government employees of French government) Pondicherry is like their back yard. Frech passport holders ' Children studying in Petit Seminare' school often go to Paris for university studies and marry Frech citizens and come back for holidays. Their celebration and ball room dances during new years day or Liberation day ,August 16th, in Marie in Pondicherry are sights behold .Even Pondicherry police wear only French carabienary caps as per the agreement during French Liberation day .
