@1:12 ‘Grab you knicker elastic, woman!’ I love that! 😁 Thank you for a super cute and super pretty mini journal. ❤️ Oh my! Auntie Gertrude has deep dark secrets??!!? 😳
I have been watching you for a long time now. I have even binge watched everything i could find from way back. You are so easy to listen to. You make me feel like im there in the room with you. You always make me laugh with every single video i watch of yours. You always find ways to make me want to craft!!!!! I will always be your number 1 fan.i think You Tube should give you a special award for most entertaing and educational person they have.! Weeeee!
I've stopped listening to music while I walk on the treadmill every morning--I watch your videos instead! You make the time go faster, you make me laugh, and I love all the techniques and projects you show us--it's a triple win for me!
No matter what kind of day I’ve had, watching your videos always make me feel better and smile. Thanks for all you do. I learn so much from you am entertained at the same time. That mini journal is just fantastic!
I always feel happy after watching you. That's a cute little journal for Great Aunt Gertrude who should be in her 90's I reckon since I am nearly 75!!! Yikes!!!❤❤❤
Hi Julie, Aunt Gertrude will love it, as do I!!! “Knickers” lace! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Congrats to your girls, good job and happy first day of school! Head scratches for Nala! Hope you all have a great week! 👍✌️❤️😊
I love listening to you while you craft. You always make me laugh. I agree no one knows if something doesn't turn out the way we planned, that is the fun of junk journaling.
Congratulations to your girls, I'm sure you're one proud Mum!! If I were Aunt Gertrude I would absolutely love this chunky little journal. It's beautiful, Julie! Thank you for always being YOU! 😊
Julie, another fab tutorial as always, I have laughed and chuckled along with your video this morning, you always bring a smile! Thank you so much for taking part in the collaboration! xxxx
This was a thoroughly enjoyable video! Knickers in the U.S. are called panties or underwear. In the south they can be called drawers and my grandmother called them step-ins. Thanks for being part of the collaboration!
Miss Julie, I just think this little journal for Aunt Gertrude is so darn cute. You always amaze me when you make it as you go. I love it. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
”Knickerelastic been a mustache for a long time…” I swear I laughed so hard my face hurts. Everything time you do a whoo or a weee it says (Music)🤣🤣🤣Love how the journal turned out….❤❤
😂❤I am sure Aunt Gertie would love this little journal. I love that kit, and 🌸🩷 I always love to watch/hear you waffle on, lol thank you for joining the collaboration. ❤
Absolutely love seeing there is a new video from Julie🎉A “quick little project”, tabbed the time and it is almost 1 1/2 hour😂 But hey, more time with your great waffling and great little project😊
I enjoy watching you don’t stop showing us the whole project, I learn so much. Your right some show the beginning next moment they going away and come back with a finished project, so annoying. That’s not you thanks. 😀🇦🇺🍀
I really feel for all the little ones and young adults who had to navigate their education through lockdown 😢 My little boy was in reception during the second lockdown and I remember worrying as it’s such a vital year for learning and making friends! How resilient were they all, though?!! Well done to your girls for getting on the courses they wanted. A massive achievement! P.S… thank you for the video! The journal is lovely! 😊⭐️💕
You've done it again. You are in my recommendations every day and I am so glad. I watch you multiple times a day. ♥️. Keep them coming. I send you love from Arizona, U. S. A.
What a sweet little journal! I just love to listen to you waffle on, as you create such beautiful things. In the US, we don’t call them knickers anymore. But they used to be. Now they just call them underwear. What a great idea with that elastic lace. I bet that works wonderful! Hugs 🤗❤️
We need a glabal knicker campaigne i think😘 Yes the lace worked out really well. No issies with it bunching and cracking like the cotton stuff can do. Knicker elastic is my new favourite. thanks lovely 😁🤗💜
Hi Julie. Only recently I’ve been watching you on here. You’re very talented. For me your appeal is your SOH and being a Yorkshire lass. I miss home badly when you come out with your sayings. You’re amazing. And crack me up. 😂
Julie, you just changed my world! The first time I have seen someone use an old book as a cradle. I have not bought one and now I don’t need one! Also, everything I clip together goes wonky too! Gonna try your way. Love, love, love listening to you waffle as I create. Kristie
Thanks Kristie love. If i had a pound or a dollar for everythime someone says use clips, it's easier, i'd be rich, but you get it, i don't know why it is, but i can't get on with them it drives me mad. I may use the odd clip at the odd point, so never say never😁🤗💜
That big Tim Holtz trimmer looks fantastic... Wouldn't mind having one of my own... Someone please let my husband know! 😉😃 In South Africa we call them "panties" 😂😂
I love the Timmy trimmer. I do think rotary trimmers are like marmite though, some love em and some hate em. Tell your hubby that i say you NEED one and not to get his panties in a twist😘😁🤗💜
What a sweet little journal. Great Aunt Gertie will be made up with that! It's my bestie's birthday tomorrow, but she wouldn't appreciate a journal. She rolls her eyes at my crafting... just doesn't get it! I gave up making her cards years ago, she only keeps 'em up for a day. 😏
Hi Julie, I love your videos, you’re such a hoot! You’re right, this is a quick build. I also love these papers. Take care and thanks for sharing. 🦘🐨🇦🇺💕
So funny, "I put in an order." I love it. That's my delivery service as well. I watch BBC daily and my kids know how much I love BBC and British Sitcoms daily. They laugh when i say British Slang. I got hooked onto it as s kid, because my German mother watched them all the time and I always joined her. The love has not wained for a second. You're a "hoot", by the way. ❤
I like my Fiskars trimmers too, except that they disappear under papers, on the floor, in the music paper box, in between the rulers, under the chair or in the chair cushion ..... Aunt Gertrude will love this journal, I can hear her now oohing and aahing and exclaiming over how much time and talent you have put into it. It is a love of a journal. Finally, if only my knickers had lace like that on them --- my "underpants" or "undies" (USA here) have only a band of the white cotton fabric. And I certainly wouldn't put that on the cover of a book!
AHH yes, my Lacey knicker days are well behind me. It's all about function now. This conversation has given me an idea to make a journal for Mrs Trunchbull from Matilda. That would be a lace free journal indeed😂 Maybe a GPS tracker on the tiny fiskars😁🤗💜
I love this little journal and so will Great Aunt Gertrude!! I enjoy your video's so much! I'm happy that you don't speed them up or put on music as I enjoy your company and your sense of humor! Also I really love to learn about how things are in other parts of the world. I didn't know that about your education system. I'm glad to hear your girls got the courses that they wanted. Here in the states we call knickers either "underwear or panties." I just call them "wears" cause I picked up that slang from a roommate many moons ago. Thanks so much for your hard work in creating videos, Julie. ❤
Thanks again Michele🤗 this might tickle you then, a common slang for underwear here is 'under crackers' 😅 Don't tell anyone but i'm so finicky when watching videos, so i try not to do any of the thinks that annoy me. What can i say i'm really a grumpy bugger. My ability to multitask has all but gone and listening to talking and music is multi tasking😅😁🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns "Under crackers!" That's great ... I certainly never heard of that one! 😂My ability to multitask is gone too ... I used to love when I had jobs that required me to do many things at once ... good grief, now days I'm lucky to just do one thing!! ha ha! Sounds like we have similar taste in videos ... I really enjoy the chatting part of videos. When there's just music playing and you're supposed to watch the person crafting ... kinda like watching paint dry. I'm crafting along while the video is playing and I enjoy the conversation very much. I do talk and respond to your comments. lol!! 😂😂
Such a beautiful little chunky journal ❤. That it was made with just one kit is awesome. Thank you for this tutorial. It’s good to see someone be so creative with limited supples and resources and you kept it simple. You could have made tags and pockets from the journal pages if you wanted to. Not to mention clusters and snippets… etc. 😂 Maybe that’s another video to do a Step two for this little masterpiece. Also, my grandmother was a Gertrude she was a tough little lady who hid her bingo winnings in her shoes until she got home. There were a lot of winnings. Lol She had the softest skin, gave the best hugs 💗 and made everything from scratch. I love that you want to call Alexa, Gertrude it makes me smile 💗 Many blessings Julie 💙🦋Xxx
Just made my first junk journal - it was so much fun! Actually I love tabs and things hanging outside the cover - that's how I made mine - a sloppy junk journal - it is addictive! Love your videos.
Yeah, "pants" in the US are trousers. Which I guess can also have elastic, but not usually the lacy kind... 🤔 This is a super cute project, I'm sure Aunt Gertie will love it ;)
Absolutely marvelous tutorial! Very clear, and for a beginner, this is essential! I have fallen in love with the "you" behind the channel. Your spirit is so refreshing, and I wish you were my next-door-neighbor! Love to watch your videos. Thank you so much.
I have never made a journal, but want to. I enjoy your videos so much because you are so easy going and go with the flow. And you say "Wheeee" a lot, and I do get a chuckle out of that. :)
Did you seriously just put knicker elastic on a journal for Great Aunt Gertie? Lol. I laughed so hard. But it's a gorgeous make, and Great Aunt Gertrude need never know.... You're a blast, thanks for sharing!
I am SOOOOOO happy that I have stubbled across your page! You bring me absolute joy, every day. When I sit down at my craft table, I get so excited because I know that I'm about to get my daily dose of Julie and have a truly joyful hour. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for simply being you. The excellent crafting is just a bonus 😉. Also, I have used underwear trim many times before. It's just so pretty 😍. Now, I don't know exactly what you mean when you say "waffling", but I assume it's akin to "rambling". 🤷🏻♀️ If that's the case......I L❤VE your waffling!!! I just can't say thank you enough for making these videos and sharing a piece of Julie with us. 🙏🏻Thank you. 🥰
Hi Julie, I thoroughly loved watching your video, love to listen you waffle on while making such a beautiful Mini Album, you never let me down, I can always chuckle at the banter you have with yourself no matter how many times I hear it. Thank you for another lovely video and looking forward to the next. Hugs ❤❤😊
I was very happy to see you in the lineup for this collaboration. Thank you once again for another entertaining and informative tutorial. Love this Mini Junk Journal💕 Watching you has changed some of my vocabulary because I now say "Crack on" "Let's get cracking" "Knickers" " Waffeling" and so on. However you say it better 🙂
A lovely project Julie - make it up as you go along! Works for me too. Pleased the girls have been able to take the courses they wanted. A very stressful time, hope they enjoy the new adventure ❤😊
Wow wow and wow! What a gorgeous little journal Julie. Great Aunt Gert will love it!!! Though, fancy Great Aunt Gert, not liking inking! 😅 I have thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s fabulous tutorial. You are such fun to watch and learn from. Thank you for showing again how to sew your signature in. I have learned so much from you. Great idea with the book cradle! Love what you said. “ it’s my journal, I can do what I want”. 😅. Many thanks. Debs. 💜🤗 ps pleased that your girls are doing the courses they wanted, and hope they enjoy them. 😊
Really enjoyed watching this in real time, especially as it was for Gertrude {my maternal grandmother} 😊. And thank you for the waffle about the paper you use. With luck I’ll get my first journal done this week. 🥰
Really glad you found it useful Nicola😁 i started typing a reply to your other comment, then thought, you know what i say it so much better than typing it😅 Crack on lovely😁🤗💜
First time watching, well I have to say, you are now my new favorite junk journalist, I would so enjoy sitting and just journal with you in person, you are a blast. Will watch your videos first❤
I missed watching as soon as this video came out but my hubby is out tonight so when I saw it was an hour and a half I put on the telly and had you up loud, awesome 😊 Thankyou again, love it. ❤😊
I SOOOO love to listen to your stream-of-consiousness narration ~~ not only are you incredibly entertaining, but I learned so much that I didn't get from other videos ~
When you started talking about "knicker" elastic, I thought to myself, what is she talking about? Then you explained. I laughed out loud. I'm going to have to look for some of that and I will think of you when I do. Thanks for the tutorial. You are very entertaining as well as talented.
