Totally agree with the rear lights + hinge comment, i had the same thought way back in 91 with my 1st Mini ....... I did have the exact same reverse light i paid UK 3 pounds for and love the 3rd brake light, I had 5 minis in my time and woah does my back know it now all these years later ! Have fun and always keep that gearbox and engine oil in good shape is my best tip for ya Drop bracket was also a mod i had bought and a very old wood rimmed wheel.... Gotta say you have the right idea ! 🏁
Love your car. I’ve been doing my mk1 cooper S over on my channel but tbh, I miss having paint I don’t need to worry about. Mine was a bit TOOOOOO ratty before I took it apart and there were a few things under it that really needed sorting. Overcrest looks awesome. I’d love to do it some day.
It is quite nice not having to worry about it. It gets beat up in my tiny garage. I’m planning on painting my Mk1 S as well. So I’ll have to worry about that 😂
@@minilife.37 when I started driving it after assembly. I was hesitant to bring it anywhere I was going to park it and leave it. I made a decision right then that I was just going to drive it and not worry about it. Fuck it! These cars are supposed to be enjoyed.
