On August 3, 2019 exactly 1,311 MINI Coopers gathered for the biennial MINI on the Mack event in St. Ignace, Michigan to try to break the record (1,450) for MINI Coopers in a continuous parade - and got close.
The next day, 30 or 40 of those MINI Coopers and their owners would depart northward to begin their own rally across six Canadian provinces to St. John's, Newfoundland, the farthest east point of North America. Driving for over 100 hours and traveling in excess of 4,800 miles, the rally ended in Saratoga, NY on August 18, 2019 where the participants scattered for home across all of North America from Texas to California to Alberta.
