So it DOES run that console that shall not be named! I was considering it to replace my big, heavy low-end tower. Thanks for this video mate, you have no idea how hard it is to find footage of Yuzu running on this oversized coaster. Now I have no doubts I could play TOTK on this with HoloISO.

This computer works perfect with Batocera 37, Switch - Xbox360 - Psvita etc etc is very playable but... an important thing is to install 16 gigabytes of ram for the video card radeon vega 11 that with 8 gigabytes is not good !!

Ive used this for about 2 days with batocera 36. Ps2 is not perfect. Most games run no problem, but the ones very cpu intensive like ratchet and clank, youll see frame drops guaranteed no matter what settings you have. Still perfect for gamecube, most ps2 etc. The fighting games played are not cpu intensive and not good for stress testing.

GameCube I get major frame drops in certain games and example bloody roar primal fury GameCube.

Thanks for that video! Im on the fence to purchase the 705, but I really want to play Midnight Club 3 dub edition (remix) in 1080p with a stable framerate. Would be fantastic if you could test it! Btw did you check the performance with batocera?

Yes I did played on it and it goes 1080p no problem. Also Need For Speed Underground also work like a charm, both games looks beautiful 1080p.

Just got this in 16GB RAM and was wondering if there is a way to play BOTW at a playable fps with this pc. Just love Botw and switch took a crap and been miss playing it ever since. If I have to sacrifice resolution,graphics or whatever idc just want to play it on this pc.

What is your expirience with BoTW on this? Do you use Batocera for emulation? Batocera V36 has a linux Based version which runs BoTW better than Windows by A LOT (on my laptop atleast). Please respond I wanna buy one too 👍

It has a dedicated gpu (rx560).. if you can find one and it's often as expensive as the mini.

Just get an ADT R43SG M.2 to PCIe x4 adapter and run a full fledged desktop GPU externally like I am doing 😁 I'm running an RX 570 8GB and I am hardly seeing much of a performance drop at all on most games. I picked up the HP 705 w/16GB RAM on eBay for $100, the ADT adapter for $40 and the RX 570 for $70 and I am very pleased with what have for $210!!!

i bought mine 1hr ago and i will put batocera on it. Then it should work like a console.

how did you manage it that yours uses 1500mb vram? my 2400g is in my 705g4 is capped to 1000 mb somehow.

How much of a drop in performance with these emulators/games should I expect from the GE as oppose to the G? If it's not too bad I might go for the GE.

Should be able to do up to ps2. Ps3 and Xbox might have issues.

about 10% on cpu side apu side i think they are almost the same

Only difference is TDP. The G is 65W and the GE is 35W (just like a laptop) TDP CAN BE MODIFIED!! So ultimately no difference

@basicdadtech that's right. I'm considering getting one just to lessen the CPU load but I'd need to get a 150w charger so I'm not sure, I like the the small 65w charger por portability.

@bantieu55 the case gets really hot but it doesn't overheat, I believe the only thing that could affect in the long run would be the ram, I'll buy thermal pads to put on top.

Short answer: No, there doesn't appear to be any kind of PCIe slot available. Long answer: Yes, but why. You could probably find a series of adapters to allow you to connect a GPU to the system, most likely through the SATA port, but at that point it's such a kludge that the onboard graphics would be lightyears better.

I have a gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 5600x and a 3060ti and it can barely run that on rpcs3 so I doubt it, maybe 30 at 720p if you are lucky.

@@basicdadtech After seeing that video this PC will be perfect for me. The only games that I want to play are Medal of Honor Warchest, Call of Duty UO, source games and Red Orchestra 2. I can buy one for 100 euro with only 8GB and 256gb M2.

Some of these have the Ryzen 2400GE version which is lower power. The 2400G technical should give better performance.

⁠⁠@@basicdadtechthe one I’m looking at has a AMD Ryzen 5 2400G (pro..?) and the AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 and a 90watt power supply.
