In today's video, I will unbox the AAXA P8 Mini Projector WiFi Bluetooth and compare it with the Kodak Luma 150.

Overall, the Kodak Luma 150 is indeed very small, light and portable. I like the nice-looking touch pad and the overall design. Wireless screen mirroring is a bit difficult to set up on my iPhone but it's useable. The projector is not extremely bright in comparison with other projectors at the $200 price range (60 ansi lumen), and the native resolution of only 480p might be outdated for 2023. Regardless of the small size, the Kodak Luma 150 has a HDMI port, and it is also equipped with a HDMI-to-HDMI cable, which I appreciate very much. User interface is simple, there's no way to play with the settings apparently. The Kodak Luma mini projector does not have bluetooth for audio out or an auxiliary port, so you can't connect the Kodak Luma with an external speaker if you want to level up your movie time with better sound quality. The Kodak Luma's speaker is only 1W, so the sound quality will be tiny for outdoor movie time.
At $219.99, you will be paying for small size and portability, wireless screen mirroring, HDMI and USB connection, battery. On the other hand, you will have to trade off sound quality (1W speaker), low brightness (60ansi lumen), low native resolution (480p).
The AAXA P8 Mini Smart Projector has 430 LED Lumen Brightness and native qHD resolution. Hence, the image quality of the P8 mini projector is a lot better than the Kodak Luma 150. The P8's image is very clear and crisp, and the color reproduction is amazing, considering how small the AAXA P8 projector is. The AAXA P8 smart projector does not come with an HDMI-to-HDMI cable, but for $249, you will have a remote control and a mini tripod. I like that AAXA Tech always provide mini remote control with a battery inside it. I highly recommend using the remote control with the AAXA P8 projector, so make sure you do not lose it. You can connect the AAXA P8 projector with a USB stick or a TF Card/ Micro SD Card, or a Fire Stick through HDMI. The AAXA P8's USB-C port is useful for screen mirroring, and you can aslo wirelessly mirror your smartphone using WiFi. Unlike the Kodak Luma 150 that has no real smart features, the AAXA P8 operates off Android 10.0. You can install various apps into the AAXA P8, watch Netflix & RU-vid, and browse web. The AAXA P8 supports office document, making it convenient for your business presentations. However, the AAXA P8 mini projector does not have a built-in battery, which makes it a lot less portable than the Kodak Luma 150 projector.
I chose to compare the Kodak Luma 150 with the AAXA P8 because the two projectors are quite similar in terms of price, size, weight, native resolution and brightness.
