Mini Tuna Feeding At Our Kayaks! Fishing For Bonito & False Albacore 

Aloha Johnny, it's Kip from Hawaii. In Hawaii we call these kawakawa (kavakava). We love eating this fish like any tuna raw for poke' but this is one fish we do not use when we live bait for marline, mahi, ono and ahi because it likes to play dead when these big fish are around. Soon as there is a predator fish near, it will come to the surface and just keep motionless as you drag it across the water. Very irratating, so we don't bother or you will be checking the live bait every few minutes.
