In this video we make a miniature gentleman's walking cane or hidden sword cane from scrap wood and metal. Taking inspiration from a project seen on Tony's Customs (link below) I thought it may be cool to make my first DC comics inspired build, a mini walking cane as used by the Joker and the Penguin, Batman's arch enemies.

One of the things outside of the creativity and attention to detail on the small projects u do is how ur able to do them without cutting or hurting urself.

It's often the small projects that give you a cut or nip. The larger projects with bigger tools are easier to manage

Another beautiful mini build! AWESOME.... been thinking have you tried hammer vs giant gobstopper (had one as a kid they are about the size of a cricket ball, I tried to smash one as a kid but no joy) 👍🏻

If you put the wood into a drill chuck and sanded it whilst it span, it would work like a iniature wood lathe. (edit) It would also be quicker, but remember to have a bit excess so you can saw off the unneeded wood at the end

I would have expected a big nail to be used rather than faffing with cutting up an old saw blade, nice though.

A nail doesn't have enough spring in it and bends easily at this kind of thickness

I have to be very careful with guns and things these days on RU-vid, RU-vid doesnt like them anymore, even if they are toys sometimes. I will make a crossbow this year though.

I haven't to be honest. My morals are slightly caught between two places. On the one hand I don't think that some of the videos on RU-vid should be there, or be monetized for their potential to cause harm to others. On the other hand I think RU-vid has double standards and is too strict some times. There is a fine line between entertainment and danger. That is the only reason I have not chipped in.

BrainfooTV that's a fair point, I was just curious, I haven't joined either for pretty much that same reason, however I do agree that RU-vid is too strict sometimes.
