Miniature FX pyro and flood mayhem from 'Killerfish' 1979 

Saw this film at the drive in as a teenager, found it a turgid bore until the miniatures showed up which totally redeemed the movie for me.

Geez, the sheer amount of skill that went into creating this. Unbelievable.

Does anyone know who made these miniature effects? They are a bit better than the last of the Gerry Anderson / Les Bowie / Derek Meddings fx made in Britain, but have the multiple locked-off camera look of that style (also see in James Bond films like 'You Only Live Twice').
