Beautiful work! To strengthen paper pieces, you can coat them in a layer of liquid super glue. They turn stiff, yet retain their color. They can also be painted.

Yes, absolutely. It might be even better as it's shiny, whereas the acrylic paint has a matte finish. But I don't have polish nail at home, I can't stand the smell😆
