This is our footage from the Stapleford Park mini steam weekend,filmed on the Saturday.
Two visiting loco's which is nice to see,both new to me,one from the Eastliegh Lakes rly(The Empress ) and (Emily) from a private railway near Swindon I was told.
Many miniature traction engines were also on show and steaming around the grounds.

Thanks. I did a lot of running about that day..We know a few of the members at Stapleford as they are members of our club,plus we do testing of boilers at this site.

We were there on Sunday!!! :-)) Enjoyed our time spent with the Friends of Stapleford Railway, very nice indeed, just great. Will visit again. Good film Chris.

That looks like a Railway that's had a great deal of thought put into its planning Chris....fascinating group of locos, many the like I've not seen before. A wonderful production superbly captured...Regards...Bob

Stapleford Park railway has been running a very long time,we have visited it many times,we have a video on here from the 60's which we copied from a cine film.The loco's are fantastic just a nice size.Well worth a visit if your ever over this way Bob..........Regards Chris

The American is a S M R Loco and is a big attraction,it was very nice to see the visiting loco's,I think this is the first time they have had them..........Best wishes Chris.

Very nice to see her at Stapleford M.R Matt,I don't remember seeing this loco when we visited the E L R it must have been in another building.I would like to see the A4 come home for a visit as it was a local at S M R. It could make the August event if were lucky......Chris

Yes, I see the empress quite a bit as she is a regular in service, Gresley would look stunning at the SMR

Hi.The Stapleford loco's are American NYC Niagra...NKP Berkshire...and South African Class 31 284.....Hope that helps but not a Big Boy.....Regards Chris

The American loco is a big attraction and everybody loves to see her out,the railway has another plus a South African loco,plus a Jubilee and a G W R Manor/Hall not sure which but they are all under repair......Regards Chris

They only open two weekends a year to the public,check out the website FRIENDS OF STAPLEFORD RAILWAY i think that is the name of the site,it will have directions on there........Cheers Chris
