What a brilliant railway with and interesting layout. I had to watch the video a few times to get my head around the track system. Love the Blue Pullman
LOL! Yes it's a bit like that..When we got there he got the 47 out and said off you go. I said."I don't know the track,he said you will end up back here sometime" lol! This my most popular Railway video..As you can see he has a branch line that goes to the village hall.On open days people board here and return to this station..Saves parking problems.Just amazing track..Living my dream..Lovely couple as well...Some of the Taunton members drive the loco's on open days.
I love this......recently took my family to Stapleford miniature railway and all 3 of my kids (13, 12 and 2!) Absolutely loved it. Love the history behind these mini railways also, looking forward to visiting another as my youngest is fascinated by anything with an engine. Great video!
Sorry for not replying to your comment sooner, but I have only just found it,one yt has been holding back or it got lost....We love these railways so much we set out 47 years ago to ride them all,we are still doing it as you can see from my channels videos...You may find some that you would like to take the children too....Best wishes Chris.
I thought this might give you an idea for your garden railway Mark!!The Blue Pullman is built by a firm called Mardyke,,she is a very nice bit of kit.Martin and Barbara are certainly living my dream........Chris
He really has done a great job,Martin has done what I would loved to have done given the chance.Railways have always been my life including 45 years working for them so having a railway like this would be Rosie's and my ideal retirement.........Chris
Wow, this is just incredible, it's a proper transport system! The Blue Pullman, that just looks stunning, very impressive detail. The other locomotives (steam and others) are also great to see. So much track to run on and so many routes and features, it's just fantastic, and someone's love of railways - it looks bigger than most of the other 7 1/4" railways I've seen on your channel. Now where's that lottery win when I need it!
He is living our dream! As you say when we win the lottery...What a track! We were so pleased to be invited to ride this railway (I even drove the class 47) I loved the idea of the branch line that serves the village on Open/Fete days...As you say so many different routes to ride....zzzzzz! Were did I put my Lotto numbers lol!
A lovely setting for some great locos, I particularly liked the Pullman, but they had several locos in those sheds that were just as good.A large layout for a private line. Most enjoyable Geoff.
Great. Must have cost a fortune. It remined me of when I was 12 years old and at a boarding school in Kericho, Kenya. The Father of one of my friends had built something similar in his garden. Thanks for sharing.
Another great little railway,,, your going to have the most complete one stop reference library for narrow gauge /model railways in Britain ,,,, well done to everyone at the Isle of Abbots railway as well ,,,
As you may know Alan,we are trying to ride the railways of GB.By filming as many railways as we can, as you say Alan this for my own reference but also we hope these videos will show the many viewers some new railways they have not seen or heard of before. Also some they may like to visit as well.........Chris.
WOW!!! What an amazing layout! I wish I had something like this. I would probably be driving around it all day and nothing else would get done! Rather like that Mardyke Pullman though. Keep up the good work. Best wishes, David. :O
Probably one of the best iv'e ever seen Both....This is one awesome private Railway....The amazing amount of Track and routes too. Loved the Tunnel with it's hanging Plastic fronds and Lighting....Just wanted a few animated Dummies to jump out at you too..ha ha..Not !! He brings out a Loco, then a bit later another, then another..it was like an Alladin's Cave of Trains.....Brilliant video looked like you really enjoyed yourselves...Best wishes....Steve.-:)
We had a great morning and we were even joined by a couple from Devon.I glad you mentioned the different routes Steve because the lines can be rode the way went or a figure of eight, you could even go around anti clockwise so you would never get bored.Yes the tunnel is like a Ghost train ride with two more set of thinner strands as you go through, all good fun.I really liked the Blue Pullman set, that was very nice...They are living my dream.......Regards Chris.
We love these trips out in the caravan, the fruits of many hours work during the winter planning our summer train riding breaks...What a fabulous house and railway were both very envious......Chris.
Yes it is a lovely long track.I can only describe the layout as a large number 8 with the house in the top section of the 8 and a branch line leading off the bottom section.Hope that helps.
