Not anymore. I LOVE homeschooling and hope to homeschool my children again one day. The timing for learning at home just isn't right now. :)

I have a high efficiency (you can use less detergent if you have one, too!) top loading LG washer and dryer. I LOVE them!!

Hi Candice! I LOVE minimalism and have been a minimalist for three or four years. It began when I looked around and realized I couldn’t manage all of the stuff we had. We got rid of most of it. I permanently deleted all of my social media accounts and now have lovely relationships with real people. I feel the next step for me is my current goal of having a no buy year and do with what I have. It is accessing a new part of my brain and feels SO GOOD.

Love your videos!! I’ve been pursuing minimalism for a year and the benefits are truly amazing. My husband even caught the bug! We recently moved and I think it was a light bulb moment that, moving things that you don’t even use is truly a waste of time - not to mention a waste of space to store them. I will say that we have 6 kids and homeschool, so we will have more “stuff” that say, a family of four that is living minimally - but I think what really did it for me is that my home never gets out of control, and it’s never more than 15 minutes before it’s company ready. I can’t tell you what this does for my stress levels. It’s also changed the way I shop. If I don’t know exactly where I’d put something, I won’t buy it. If I buy a new top, I immediately donate an item from my closet when I get home (sometimes 2 items. LOL). It’s life changing. Sorry...rambling. Just had to share. Also, this is a random question, but do you know the color on your walls?

My basement laundry area was driving me bonkers too much stuff. My 14 year old daughter is so good and decluttering her room. She is ruthless and she helped me for 4 hours declutter and organize! It feels so good!!!! Can’t wait to have less!

I’m on a minimalism journey as well. Of course my husband and son are not on the same page but I will do the best I can. I also find it extremely stressful and as a person who has a chronic illness and has also suffered with panic attacks for over 20 years I feel living a life as a minimalist will be very beneficial to me. I think as a stay at home mom (my son is 23 now....lol!) it’s difficult because we spend the majority of our time in our homes. It becomes a lot more irritating to me as this is my world. If all I see is clutter then my mind feels cluttered and so the stress begins. As I watch you-tubers on a similar journey I hear them all say that they feel less stressed, have more free time, less to clean and organize and in the end have more money in the bank. Also anything I declutter usually makes it’s way to a charity shop or I sell things on Kijiji (Canada’s version of Craigslist). It just seems like a win/win situation to me.😊❤️

I agree with you about beginning in a place where you feel the most impact. For me, it was my clothing. Once I saw how easy it was to get dressed in the morning with fewer choices, I was completely inspired and won over to minimalism. I’m so happy to have subscribed to your channel. I started with make up, now I use either 1 lipstick and 4 multi-sticks and tinted moisturizer for day and an all over lotion for night and other days. I try to use as many multi purpose products as I can, it makes things so much easier. Good luck with your journey.

I did the same thing on RU-vid just a few weeks ago and actually deleted Instagram. I had the flu for 2 weeks and realized how overwhelmed I was with social media when I was too weak to even check all the notifications. The only ones that made the cut are the ones that feel like virtual friends 💜

I did some purging last year (2019) but need to get back on it and create a life I love (goal for 2020). I'm glad it's not just my kids with the clothing issue! It drives me nuts and it is making my husband crazy! He keeps telling me to throw it all away. I think this week I'm going to go through it all one last time and be really ruthless about it.
