What I REFUSE to Declutter from My Home (Fall 2024)

The biggest thing minimalism has taught me is that you begin to notice what your “tried and true” things are. I have stuck with the Stone Cold palette too and love it! Also from thrifting the kids clothes I notice we find more unique pieces than everyone else.

I love the things I have that make me think "I'm so grateful to have this". And I LOVE thrifting. Basically 80% of all my wardrobe is thrifted at this point, even shoes and bags!

Great idea with the lip combo! I actually have berry lips and the same gloss and never wear them. I can’t wait to try them combined! Yay!

I thrift 90% of all we have. The key is to go often and have a list!

I have followed you since way back and your make up days! :-) I also follow a very nice young lady named Abbey Yung and she has a degree or diploma and triology the science of hair products. She is so knowledgeable and so honest, and I trust her reviews and her information that she shares. I have learned so much about my own hair just from watching her and taking her advice and listening to her speak about products and how they are marketed and all of that.she’s easy to listen to. She doesn’t drown on and on about things that don’t matter she gets right to the point. So I really encourage you to go give her a watch even her most recent video. I watched this morning was super informative.

I used to thrift store shop for clothes but recently my mom has been one size above me so I take full advantage of helping her declutter her closet of those clothes just a bit too tight for her but show nicely on me. Not EVERYTHING she doesn't want but it's a sure cheap way to get a fee new pieces for sure!!

Oh man, can I relate to many things. I to have simlar hair issues. Even seen a dermatologist. Hormones, alpecia are words that have come up. It is very flustrating to have to deal with for sure. On a different 🎵... I have always loved thrift store shopping. It's a treasure hunt. You can find unique things at lower prices compared to department stores. It can get easy to buy too much, though, and bring home clutter. Done this a lot before. Now, I stay focused. Especially with decor. I ask: do i need it, love it, where will i put it? Your videos have really helped. Have you tried thrift stores or used bookstores to find the classics? Just a thought. Thank you for your tips & info. Just love your channel. Bat & body has pricey candles unless you get them on sale which is very easy to do. But with that said, they are so worth every penny the fragrances are not overwhelming but yet they are enough to fill the home. In my opinion, they’re the best candles out there.

A few years back, I was losing so much hair. It turned out I was severely low in vitamin D.

About 95% of my clothes & footwear are second hand, it's better for the environment & your bank balance, what's not to like 😊

Fragrance is a huge hormone disruptor.(the smelly candles) When your hormones are off you may experience hair loss.

I have started interspersing The Newbery Medal winner books into my reading schedule. The award started in 1922 and are geared toward children/young adults. I have read 3 so far, 2 i really liked and one was just a bit weird.

My hairdresser told me to take AG Pro to help with hair regrowth. It’s amino acids. I used it years ago also when my thyroid condition was making me lose hair by the handfuls every time I washed it. (Like a ziplock sandwich bag ful). I also changed shampoos to Pur a dor “thin to thick”. I have sooo much new hair growth and only have a slight amount of lose anymore. The AG Pro is so much cheaper than Nutrafol.

Have you had your Thyroid checked? I have Thyroid disease and I also have Hashimoto’s, so if levels are lower or higher than they should be, can cause hair loss like crazy. I actually thought I had alopecia. I don’t all my thyroid levels were in the crapper.. get it checked, if you haven’t already done so.. love your channel!! Peace and blessings to you.

Gee whiz what a bad esthetician! And I've been losing hair as well. I think it's a combo of stress and menopause. Taking the right supplements and eating an egg every day has helped. Love thrifting too.

Have you had the big C lately? I caught it 5 times and experienced hair loss after the first couple of times (it happens like post-partum hair loss) after getting it. It is finally getting better and my hair is looking fuller and healthier but it took awhile…

Not sure of your age, but now in my 40s / perimenopause, I've had hairloss. Previous to that I lost hair from covid, and hairloss from being on prednisone. Not sure if any of those may fit the bill for you.

I’m a big thrifter too! Unless I need something specific, clothes for the kids and myself are thrifted. Men’s choices are not that great, so it’s hard to find pieces for my husband

I'm gonna make the other thrifters jealous. Today my thrift store had all clothing for adults for 50¢ and for kids 25¢! 98% of my clothing is thrifted or just given to me.

Please ask your Dr to check your thyroid levels T3 & T4 as well as thyroglobulin levels. I’m not a Dr but had a Dr ignore my concerns about thyroid issues, went to an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, throat) Dr about something else only to be told he was more concerned with my thyroid, turns out I had thyroid issues.
