@@chiu8762 yes. Took a long time but it helped. But I actually found a better product for my hyperigmentation. It's worked soooo much better than the Minimalist one. It's the Vitamin C serum from a brand called The Formula Rx. It's got vitamin c as well as alpha arbutin and other amazing ingredients. Amd the texture is amazing. Saw results really quickly . But if you're on a budget, then the Minimalist one is still good , just takes a a bit more time to see the results. Took about 10 weeks to see results on my stubborn marks. Whereas the formula Rx one showed me results in around a month . Good luck. Hope you find a product that works for you.

Currently using minimalist vit c. And personally i wont use arbutin and retinol together but if u want to apply retinol first wait 3-4 mins then use arbutin

No I think. Because it is used as a spot treatment till you have your skin problems like any dark spots, pigmentation or uneven skin tone. So it can be used maximum for 4 months approx and if you see any improvement in skin like reduction in all of your skin concern, you can stop using it.

Depends on the range. You can't use it with the plum green tea range as both these products should not because used with AHA or BHA, and the green tea range has glycolic acid.

Can someone tell me if we should stop using Alpha Arbutin by 3 months ? What damage does it do if we use it for more than 3 months. I was not aware of this and used it for more than 7 months in a row, worried. How many days/months of break should I take before reintroducing Alpha Arbutin back ?

Normally this perception of using for 3 months is for "KOJIC ACID" . Arbutin has not been tested to be harmful if used for prolonged period of time. The reason y ppl say to not use kojic acid for long is because how it works. It makes skin sensitive to uv, so ppl who dont have q habit of wearing & reapplying snscreen , they might suffer

Recently I read lot of articles stating not to use Alpha Arbutin for more than 3 months continously and that we need to take a break. Can you please give me more insight on this. I have very dark acne marks, it's only getting lighter by now. So this 3months period won't workout for me, because even after 7 months my dark marks are still there and not completely gone. I want to be sure that I am not doing damage thinking I am doing good.

Hi, my morning skincare: simple face wash, etude house soon jung toner Klairs vitamin c purito galacto niacinamide alternate with purito centella serum , followed by klairs vitamin e mask and then sunscreen Nighttime: garnier miscellar water. Cosrx good morning cleanser, Benton bha toner , cosrx snail mucin essence, minimalist alpha arbutin and minimalist 10% niacinamide, innisfree aloe sleeping mask. Alternate nights I use bha toner and minimalist retinoid, and olay regenerist moisturizer. Is this ok? Please reply!
