I loved seeing a little more of your clothes! The black dress is very elegant! I also loved your organization! Everything is very tidy! Congratulations on the beautiful minimalist closet!!!!❤❤❤❤
I also live in 4 seasons and recently extremely decluttered my wardrobe and packed it away from my eyes… I was shocked how little I need, I just left only that things that I absolutely love to wear ❤ thank you, your channel inspired me to do that
For the sweater, you're one RU-vid tutorial away from hand mending it and making it brand new again ;) They sell mending kits at the dollar store, very useful
I wish I could do that it’s just that this particular sweater is extremely cheaply made. And I’m afraid if I mess around with fixing it I think it will be a goner sooner than later 😅. Also I’m horrible at fixing clothing, furniture basically anything to do with cloth, let’s just say I’m not the most skilled person since I also get nervous that I’m going to mess things up 😂
Thank you for being so relatable :) I am also in the process of revamping my room and wardrobe and I am taking my time making sure I truly love each item and using what I have in the meantime. It feels less stressful going at a realistic pace.
You are so welcome and I’m wishing you the best on your decluttering journey! Ah I miss the decluttering days for myself, I get a relaxing high from it 🧘🏻♀️
I just cant wait to see your minimalist journey as a mother! My in laws basically dump my son in a ridiculous amount of TOYS it drives me nuts. But no one wants to give us cash, giftcards, homeschool materials or books. Ppl just like throwing away money i guess :(
We personally decided not to have kids but I will update my wardrobe one day to something more modern and sophisticated. I totally agree with toy situation, thats one of many reasons my stopped buying my niece and nephew gifts.
This video is informative: it’s really good to see how much or little a person actually needs, even if it’s not the same for everyone, it gives me a good idea (even though I still own too much).
I’d love to have this little clothing. Where I live we’ve got 4 seasons as well, but I also have a very professional wardrobe for my job as well as my casual/regular everyday clothing
Great video as always Kyra. You’ve inspired me to organize and declutter my closet!! Lol. I haven’t done it in a while I love the idea of having a uniform. It’s very practical and I find myself wearing the same thing everyday especially with being a mom and working from home, I don’t go anywhere during the week so I wanna be comfortable and not have to overthink what I’m gonna wear in the morning I love your black dress. My “little black dress” is also long and I’ve worn it to funerals, birthday parties and other events! Much love to you and your family. Keep up the amazing work ❤
Thanks for sharing! Definitely can’t go wrong with one black dress, best purchase I’ve ever made 🤭. I swear by the uniform method especially these days with how pricey everything is I find that it’s best to keep things simple. It’s not forever just for now. Wishing you the best on your decluttering and organizing!!
I love you and you are one of my favorite RU-vidrs. That said, pls dont get offended but when you tried those gloves on and moved your hands around I had to LOL cuz I do that with my driving gloves too hahahahaha i feel SO fancy with gloves! I see why ladies used to wear matching gloves with their dresses.
OMG and here I thought I was the only one doing that with my gloves 😅!! Love that some of us have weird little things in common, LY2 Natty thanks for showing love!!
looks very organized and calming, seams like it is just the right amount for you :) i personally need more things so I don't have to wash my clothes as often :'D
Thank you Nini 🤍 one day I hope to expand my wardrobe as well since the laundry part does suck sometimes. Luckily I work from home these days but I know one day I’ll have to get more clothes eventually in order to save time and money with doing laundry 24/7
I love this is definitely have a minimalistic wardrobe … it helps take guess work and one less thing to stress about , I have been getting rid of things and trying a minimalistic approach it’s helpful . I know Kim kardashian like very minimal almost to hospital type but what she said made sense she wants a calm serene environment and that’s something I have adapted in my own way in my life.
So most of my clothes are old, from like 7 years ago. But the sweatshirts/leggings are from amazon (I have them linked in the description box). As for prints and patterns I use to wear all of that back in the day but over the years I realized I wasn't much of a fan.
Yes!! Definitely one day I plan on doing those type of videos. Fun fact I use to be a regular at my local thrift store for years (when I had a shopping problem). I use to love the feeling of finding hidden treasure but also hated the feeling of spending money I didn’t need to be spending at the time 😅. All about balance these days.
Is the reusable period underwear good? No leakage? And do you know an affordable brand whose quality is also quite good? I’m thinking of getting some as my reusable pads always slide around when I walk and they’re not feasible for me anymore. But the only ones I can find are expensive when you need quite a few at once.
The tank tops I showed and the sun protective shirt. Even though its long sleeve its still perfect for hot days because its a thin material but still sun protective.
Hi Diane, I couldn't find the link for the old navy tanks since they are 7 years old so I found other tank tops very similar to the quality and price 🤍
Hi! My question is, why do you keep 3 pairs of dress shoes for only 1 black dress? I didn't see any other dressy clothes in your closet, especially for the white dress shoes. Love the ultra minimal closet!
Hello Lacy, I've significantly decluttered my wardrobe over the past four years, as you can see in older videos of mine. Currently, I own only one pair of black dress pants that match well with all three pairs of my dress shoes, depending on the season. Although I've gained over 60 pounds in the past 4 years, I've kept the white heels because I still enjoy them and used to wear them with jeans. However, I've gotten rid of jeans that no longer fit me in terms of size or style and haven't replaced them yet, as I'm currently on a weight loss journey. The flats and black heels are typically what I wear to doctor appointments, along with my one pair of dress pants. I hope this clarifies why I have these particular shoes. Sorry for any confusion.
For my laundry only I do one load a week. Now with reusable items, bedding, bathroom, my partners clothes I’ll do all of those loads once a month since there’s enough to last.
Thank you, I couldn't find the exact link for the dress I have since I purchased it many years ago. But here's a similar version of it go.magik.ly/ml/22w0y/ Hope it helps 🤍
I really like your neutral colors - the softness or whatever of them just seem so “comfy”. It isn’t always easy to work a minimal style when there are four distinct seasons that can seem to have extreme temps overall. What is the speech / language style used in this video? Is this style/patttern/ cadence something that is used in an everyday conversation style or is it particular to videography? I’m just curious and hear it in several settings.
I like the concept of a capsule wardrove, but I think you have too much repeated casual/sport clothes and don't have more formal or elegant clothes to go out. ❤
I'm self-employed, so I work from home; therefore, I don't need many formal or elegant clothes as of right now. Also, my budget is extremely tight these days, so I'm just working with what I have and can afford. We don't go out due money being very very tight.
It's alright; everyone leads unique lives. Currently, this is my wardrobe, and perhaps I'll expand it later, but financially, it's not feasible at the moment. Let's avoid harsh judgments; we never truly understand another's circumstances.
