Use a non glare glass or Plexi glass in all art work so glare doesn't happen also Plexi is easily cut for any frame.. Liked first work better missing the extra be it more pattern or beading but it's your usually gifted stuff/ results I miss in new piece seems unfinished😮😢
I love both looks. I prefer the original look. I’m thinking about trying the second look using several shades of brown & beige. Thank you so much for sharing your inspiring creativity.
6/27)23 Hello Katia.. I Luv All ur decor. But! The first was definitely better. The new one needs some pop of color added to it. Or U could just take the other Art out of the glass enclosure and place them on canvases without the glass. The new ones are too plain. Be blessed 🙏🏽💜 add something to it.

I love all your idea, however I liked the original artwork. I would of probably just removed the glass on the original to solve the reflection problem. Love your style
I love, love, love your style. On these however, maybe add some simple design with another color, maybe a little black to tie in with your pillows. Just some contrast so they would pop a little more. The room is beautiful.❤
This is a great diy, but super plain! I liked the 1st artwork a lot better because it was more interesting! If you took the 1st pieces out of the glass, you may have enjoyed them
Hello Katia..I always love all the art decors U r creating, but (please dont be mad or sad) this time I feel someting is missing in this wall art, maybe some wooden beads or seashells..it looks to minimalistic but it is only my opinion, it doesnt mean U have to run now and rechange it cause it looks nice anyway.. Your style just blows me away! ❤️❤️ I just wonder how you look so put together when working on a project. I’m so careful, I wear old clothes when doing projects, and I still end up with glue and paint in my bra!
This was done very nicely. Not too overbearing but subtle. I would've considered a clear matte polyurethane in light brush strokes in order to preserve the fabric from dust and dirt.
I preferred the original art you had up! The only thing I would have done was perhaps remove the glass. You have a unique esthetic which I like. Your eye for composition and your ability to see things through a different lens is genius at times. Good luck with the wall. Keep on doing you.
Hello my friend 🤗🌹❤️ I think it would be better if instead of using one color of fabric, you used several colors close to each other such as cream, brown and beige, or if you used different seashells on the same cloth you used, it could give a better effect to your work ❤️🌹

I truly agree with you.....the before artwork is gorgeous and tribal feeling....but the new pieces minus the reflection are so soothing and neutral and textural. I think it needed a little something…a little bland so maybe add some beads or contrast to it or texture to it? Still beautiful just needed a little umph…
You are to be commended for trying so many new things in your videos. How creative to glue layers of fabric to your canvas. May I ask what the slightly darker spots are in the finished piece?Had some of the glue not dried completely at time of photo?
Thou the pieces are very neutral, you really are able to see the texture in the material. Your eyes continue to travel throughout the piece because one is looking for slight variations in the texture!!! Very interesting and I don't totally understand why it works, and yet it does!!! Love it!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞

I love this idea. What I’d do differently is soak pieces of the cloth in tea, making some of the cloth darker for more contrast. Keep these ideas coming!
I might use two different shades of that drop cloth if they have it. Like the one shade you have and then a bit darker of a shade and use a few patches of the darker shade mixed in?
I love it❣️ I think I understand your thought process with this, the other artwork was beautiful, but you didn’t want the wall to be that busy and always catch your eye because you have a lot of other textures going on so you wanted that wall to be just kind of a nod to the rest of the decorating, without in your face pattern. You would know best because you’re in the room every day. It looks beautiful. You did a great job.❤️

You understand balance, scale, movement, texture and color. Not only are you a talented artist and fashionista, I thoroughly enjoy your production skills; filming, editing, and music. Plus your interesting to listen to! Regarding your new creations, the lighter colors brighten and lift that wall area, and you've successfully eliminated the light reflection problem. It has a more clean modern look, rather then ethnic vibe. The eyes can now focus on the center of the room while the wall art contributes calm subtle interest. Beautiful!! You've inspired me to nurture my own artistic skills. I'd like to incorporate your techniques but integrating it into my French Provincial decor will be challenging. I'm thinking Picasso style artwork composed with the neutral colors and media you use could update my interiors without being too bold. Crazy, huh?
I understand it totally. Mayday without the glass the other wall art looks better. But I also think that the new ones bring peace to the room. Please tell me what is modpodge? Is it a glue? Living in the Netherlands and there is no modpodge over here and trying to find out what to buy instead.
