I was wondering if you still keep you makeup collection minimalstic! Great to see you are still using and loving the same products! I love what you said about not following trends and mindlessly buying all the new releases. Your collection is very luxe and chic and you look stunning as always! This really proves you don't need a huge collection to look so put together
Yes, it's been a while since I made an update on my makeup collection. But becuase not much is changing with it, I though it would be kinda boring for you guys to hear about the same products in every video 😅 thank you for your kind words and your support
No....I love these no matter if they are the same products. I feel it helps me reign myself in when I start getting bored with my makeup and wanting to try something new...that I will probably not like as much as what I already have!
Wow , this is refreshing to see someone with a reasonable amount of makeup!! I'm working on getting all my products into one bag, I have a issue with lip gloss though.
I am working toward narrowing down my makeup collection and it’s nice to see someone else doing it as well. I love Bobbi Brown lipsticks and my core collection includes 4 Raspberry, Brownie, Beige & Hibiscus 🌺 are my favs & go-to’s. ❤️
This is great! Best of luck with your project and I hope you are enjoying the process 😁 Thanks for recommending me the lipsticks, I will swatch them next time I am at Sephora 😘
Hi, I love that your updated makeup collection is almost similar to what you had a year ago 👏🏼 Actually I really love you video last year that it became one of the few videos that inspired me to downsize my own collection. Around this time last year, I had a massive collection, I owned 30-40 blushes, let alone lipsticks and other things 🫣 Now, I have a total of 14 items and that’s only because I have quite a few lipsticks that I still enjoy using. My blushes are down to 2 😎 One of them is Dim Infusion! The other one is Charlotte Tilbury First Love, if you’d like to take that as a recommendation 😉 Anyway, thank you for being such an inspiration for me 😊
Wow, I am so proud of your progress! Truly well done 👏 I am glad my video gave you some ideas to downsize your collection. I actually never tried Charlotte Tilbury blushes. So, I will gladly swatch it at Sephora when I will go out to buy a replacement smile 😊 Thank you for sharing and for your support ❤ I appreciate you a lot 🌹
Thank you so much for this video. It's so helpful and inspirational.❤❤❤ Yes, it's better to have few quality products than a bunch of products that you are not happy to use.
This is probably late since the video was last year, but the Tom Ford eyeliner is amazing!! My holy grail. I have tried them all and it is the best. Totally worth the price IMO. ❤❤
@@Ladyblue_official - I wish I could be more of a makeup minimalist. I’m working on it. A lot of the beauty influencers on you tube promote massive, massive overconsumption. One lady that I was watching the other day has 70 different foundations. And over 100 lipsticks. Who needs all that?? It seems a little unbalanced and unhealthy to me. Anyway…I’ve stopped watching most beauty influencers and have even blocked a few so they don’t inadvertently show up when I’m searching for something. Thanks for sharing
I like that your makeup collection is so relatable, I love the elate blushes, my one that I use is the Brave blush and I like that you can buy refils and just keep it in a compact or in a magnetic makeup holder.
That's great! Thank you for letting me know. I like the idea of refilling my makeup and keeping the same packaging. It can be a lot more environmentally friendly ☺
One of my favorite videos You make! Loved it! For blush I would like to recommend the new Chanel Les Beiges water fresh blushes, they give the most natural effect I have ever seen, like a watercolor, are barely there, but that makes them look as if there is no makeup used, also great to use on bare face if You don't use base products. The product itself is so unique, it can't compare to cream blushes if You are not a fan of them, it is water based and when it dries down, it has a very natural "glass skin" glow finish and surprisingly they do stay put, don't move or fade easily. Application is tricky though: I pump 1 pump on the back of my hand, break up the beads with my finger and then take a blush brush and apply half of it to one side of my face and the other half on the other side. You have to act fast. It's only weird the first few times, I'm used to it now. 😊
Wow thank you so much! I apprecite your recomendation and the application advice ❤ I will look into it and will try it the store to see if I can work with it :) In general, I like the idea of it! Hope you are doing well, sending you my love 🌹
I just repurposed all my unused matte lipsticks into blushes and bronzers…and i am currently trying to work out of one makeup bag. I agree, it takes so long to go thru even one product. I still have two container store clear drawers…but i am hoping eventually to exclusively use one large bag.
Hi, I was going to say the same thing. If it's not broken, don't fix it. The KVD eyeliner and the mascara you like, stick with it. Specifically because these are products for your eyes. I am adventurous with lip products etc but tend to stick with the same for the eyes. I have sensitive eyes, so once I find something that works, I stick with it. Love your luxury minimalist inventory. I also enjoy luxury only face products but I only purchase what I need and use. Love that you mentioned that one highlighter can last you for so long. I have two, one for spring and summer (flaunt from Rare Beauty) and another for fall and winter (Mesmerize from Rare Beauty). Massive inventories give me anxiety because it is a waste that will end up on a landfill.
Hi, thank you! I wouldn't recommend Ilia eyeliner, I think KVD Tattoo liner is way better. As for the blush, it is great 😁 Hourglass powdered products are amazing!
Thank you, Emma. I am very glad 😊 And yes, I will also share my current skincare routine products. I am a lot less minimalistic with my skincare 😄 I have already filmed a video decluttering my skincare. I plan to post soon as well and also my next video is about my 10 favourite products from my favourite brands 🙂 so please, stay tuned for that!❤
Hey you look beautiful as always .. I may get this hourglass blush it looks beautiful shade , totally agree with you we don’t need so much as we don’t use it up.. I need to remember this .. have a great day 🤗🤗🤗
I’m trying to minimise, finished two travel size hourglass ambient light powders so I bought a large one this Black Friday. A winter shade of the Nars radiant foundation and concealer. I always buy travel size mascaras because I need to throw them out within 3 months.
I'm in the same boat as you for mascara! 😅 My HG is Dior Iconic over curl mascara but for some reason I keep trying others....and keep coming back to my lovely Dior...it's the only one I keep repurchasing. Have you ever tried Bobbi Brown blush? I love them! Nectar and pale pink are my fave. Somehow they leave a nice sheen on the cheek.... absolutely NO GLITTER OR SHIMMER (I am 51 yrs so try not to do shimmer much) but yet a nice sheen...amazing!
ah good to know I am not alone 😄 though I am interested in trying out that Dior Iconic mascara you are talking about 😁 as for the blush, no I don't think I ever tried Bobbi Brown one.I'll take a look at it when I shop for makeup next time. Thank you for your recommendation ❤
Hello, love your videos! if you're still looking for eyeliner, MAC long wear fluidline is amazing. been using for about 15 years as well as Essence princess lash mascara is great!
you are amazing dear, it is just amazing that you just have those products!!! i love the laura mercier setting powder :) i am trying to be more aware of what i buy and i do not over buy and this year i think i am doing well :)
Thank you! I am very interested to try it :) Thank you for the note, I ended up getting KVD this time instead of Tom Ford. But still want to try smth new
@@Ladyblue_official I’ve heard good things about the KVD liner. I also have a Surratt liner. I love that it’s refillable. It’s a bit on the inky/watery side
Hi there. I've just discovered your channel so I'm sorry if I'm making suggestions for products that you're already familiar with :) For mascara, try the Hourglass Unlocked one (I don't like the Caution one) - amazing! It's a tubing one so no smudging or flaking; it holds a beautiful curls and adds length (not so much volume, but that's ok) and separates the lashes nicely. Another one I like is Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes (get a travel size one to see if you like it) but I prefer the former mentioned one. For eyeliner, I personally do not recommend the Tom Ford one - I know it's loved but it did not work out for me, it's a bit too glossy, hard to make a wing and it smudged on me big time, almost immediately. Maybe it's not made for my oily lids. What I would suggest (I also love the KVD one) is the Stila "Stay All Day" liner - it does what the name suggests and it's more opaque and less glossy than TF. If you're looking for a more discreet option, I would suggest the Surratt AUTOGRAPHIQUE liner (it's also refillable). Finally, for powder, I would suggest the Westman Atelier one (I actually recommend all of their products except for maybe the eye pods which are nice but not worth the cost!) - light and airy, non-powdery, you can't even tell you're wearing powder on your face or under eyes - and the packaging is also refillable (refills coming later in the year) and to die for! :) Have a lovely day ahead!
Hi, wow thank you so much for taking time and writing such a lovely list of recommendations. I love to read your experience with it and it is very helpful! I've been wanting to try Surratt products for a while now. Here in Germany, we can only buy it online. I heard good reviews for a Stila eyeliner too. Might it it a go! Thanks again and enjoy the weekend ahead ❤
Nyx's eyeliner is amazing but i don'y think you will buy it because it's cheap. You're right we don't need a lot of make up it's so difficult to finish all these products..
Thank you for recommendation nonetheless 😀 and yes, makeup takes a long time to finish, which is a good thing! Cause we don't need to buy it so often 😁
Please clean the Burberry highlighter. it has a lot of hard pan that is preventing from the product being picked up on the brush. you may have noticed that the product is not as "good" as when it was new. that is because of the hardpan. you can lift the top layer off of the highlighter using tape
