Your videos are fantastic and I too can pack a postage stamp. I use a 4 point packing system my veteran Dad favored. He used a pouch or pocket for each of the following 4 categories: clothing, toiletries, tech and documentation/paperwork. Each pouch was packed vertically in a small army field bag. My bag of choice is a Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag. I attach a hat clip and a large carabiner to one of the straps and I’m good to go.
When washing in sink. Use a towel from hotel or borrowed to roll clothes in and even stand on the roll to squeeze out more water. This helps to dry out the clothes quicker.
One suggestion: Get a multi-port GAN charger like the Anker 523. It'll save you from having to bring a Switch, iPhone, and MacBook Air Charger. And it's smaller than a MBA charger.
I recommend the roll-and-squish when doing sink laundry. It reduces drips and clothes dry faster. Wring your clothes after washing, roll up in a bath towel in a single layer, then walk up an down the roll to squish out extra water. Unroll and hang, preferably where there is a bit of airflow. Thanks for your sensible, implementable tips
I love my merino wool for travel. You can wear it multiple times, it always looks fresh, and dries quickly if it does need to be washed. It’s trendy now for good reason!
Love your videos. The music is great, it's fun to see Chicago, and your packing hints are really helpful. I like that you are old school about some of your stuff: vinyl, cameras, games, paper books, and notebooks. Nice.
Great video! I’ve never seen anyone show me how to do laundry in the sink. It’s really helpful. Also, I’m interested in the game and watch. Do you recommend a game?
Thanks for watching! The Game and Watches just come in two games right now - Super Mario or Legend of Zelda. I recommend either! Both are super fun to play and great for travel. I saw another handheld that just came out that plays a bunch of Capcom games like Street Fighter and Mega Man. Also want to check that out!
Love your videos. They are really helpful and make things seem much easier! The music is soooo soothing and I love that too! Thanks for the helpful vids!!
