Thank you! Yes, the more they can do the less I have to do LOL. I think it's good to start young with teaching how to organize stuff. I hope you have a great week.
Yes! Can you believe it? We have come a long way from how many toys we started with. The crazy thing is they don't even notice that they have less. I hope you have a great week.
I love how it turned out and I really like the maps! My boys are sharing their rooms too since my little one was 2 and they think they have a sleep over every day they still love it. 😀💛🌼😄xxxx
Love what you did with the boys’ room and how well you have everything organized! Our boys shared a room until they were teenagers and they enjoyed their time together so much. I agree that the toy situation was much more manageable that way. 😄💛🤗
Love your videos!! Very interesting for my family of 4!! My two boys are in the same room, we actually gave them our bedroom which is bigger that theirs and it's way better like that! (We really don't need the "big bedroom" for my husband and I because we only have our bed!)
Hi Shannon! This room looks so nice! Love the personalized comforters! Looks like you've downsized it nicely! My kids share the same room too and they are actually happy about it! I prefer it too like you said, everything you need for them it's in that room! :) Loved the maps! I need to get one for their homeschooling room! Have a great day, my friend and keep these videos coming! :)
Thank you! I think it is so nice that siblings can share a room. The maps are inexpensive on Amazon and I got a really cheap frame at the local craft store. The boys really like pointing out where everyone we know lives. I hope you have a great weekend.
It looks great Shannon! My boys shared a room until my daughter went off to college when they were 13 and 15, then my younger son took over her room! :)
Absolutely love this room Shannon! My son and daughter shared a room around the same age and I do believe it helped them develop a really lovely sibling bond. Can I ask are the walls painted white or pale grey? ( sorry I can’t tell from the video) the room looks lovely and fresh. You’ve done a great job!!
Thank you! I agree about siblings sharing a room, so far it is making them closer. The walls are bright white, but this house is kinda dark so a lot of the time they look like a light grey.
How do you approach the kids playing with everything in their room? Like do you make them play with one thing at a time or do you care if they pull everything out? I have been decluttering my boys room (they share as well. Almost 3 years apart) but still feel it’s too much. I am nervous I create some complex with them and they will become hoarders 😆 my 6 year old is attached to everything.
My boys rarely play with anything in their actual room 😂. I wish they would, but they always drag things out. This is another reason we don't have a play room. I know they would never play in there. My 5 year old likes to play on the couch or at the dinning table and my 2 year old likes to wander around the house with cars right now. My only rule is that they don't take out too much at once and I make sure they put everything away when they are done playing. 😀
Love hoe it’s organize and the simplicity of it. We have some of Nolan’s artwork in frames as well. Such a cute idea to make them feel special and display their stuff.
I normally have about 7 to 10 shirts, and around 7 pairs of shorts. This can vary a little because sometimes they are growing out of stuff or growing into things, but I have found capping it around 10 items seems to work really well for us. This way they can make it through a whole week without doing laundry. 😀
@@shannontorrens1 I am working on this plied clothes and it seams to be working 🙌 some is in really great condition and I have a hard time deciding which one to keep, how often do you replace or buy more. They are 6 and 7 and fit clothes ranging 7-12 (some stretch some shouldn't)
