I didn't research this much....or can say couldn't find such good video to started using salicylic acid two times a day and niacinamide and alpha arbutin on alternate days... again both am and pm ....but my skin seems to be doing fine... I've not seen any reaction or irritation infact it's getting better....it just get little more oily now 😅 but not tooo much....so I want to ask can there be side effects later....it's been about 15 days since I'm following this routine
I personally use arbutin with 10% niacinamide....I give great results with my pigmentation and acne issue.....I didn't see that much effect on skin with any other combination........I'm going use this continuously. . Arbutin 2% + niacinamide 10% = gave great great results with my skin texture, it clear my complexion, reduce visibly my pigmentation and dark spots as well...for me this combination is a great 👍🏾

Thank you so much dear :) and Yes, I checked on their website, they have mentioned the same over there but after checking many other blogs, discussion pages, and also on my skin when I used arbutin with niacinamide, the brightening effect was bit less. So I decided to keep them apart. But there is no harm in using them together. I wish more information was available on the internet.

I saw in the video that Niacinamide and Alpha arbutin cannot be used together. But I have been using them together for the past 1 month. When I contacted The Minimalist, they shared the layering routine as Cleanse > Tone > Alpha arbutin > Niacinamide > Moisturizer > Sunscreen(if the actives are used during day time). Now I'm confused whether it's okay to use these actives together! 🙄
Hi.. you may use them together, its not gonna harm your skin, but after searching through the internet, I concluded that it's best to avoid arbutin with high ph skincare products, as it will reduce the potency of arbutin. I will share further details on my next week's video. stay tuned :)
