This surgeon is excellent. I underwent surgery on my cervical spine C5-C7. Dr.Cantor performed a hybrid C5-C6 fusion with ProDisc C Artificial disc @ C6-C7. He cleaned the foramen with the bone scalpel. The symptoms in my cervical spine, left shoulder and pain between the bicep and tricep are completely gone. For 6 months I was treated conservatively by another practice. When I had enough agony I started searching RU-vid videos for help. That bone scalpel is the device that caught my attention. I have been in the nursing field for 22 years. When I called Dr.Cantor's office he got right on the job. He explained the whole scenario and I chose to have it done Outpatient. I went in at 1pm and was home in my comfy bed by 8pm. The recovery was easy and the pain was minimal. In about 3 more weeks I will be out of the soft collar. Total recovery time will be about 12 weeks because of the bone fusion healing time. Nov 6th-Feb 7th, 2014 (next CT-Scan) and then back to my active life. Totally Worth It! Thank-you to the entire team for such excellent attention to details. Perfection : ) PS I was in so much pain I wasn't even afraid to have the surgery ! I just have a little tiny scar on the left side of my neck barely noticeable that I have been putting Bio-Oil on to minimize the line. Definitely would consider what was accomplished and the size of the incision minimally Invasive.
