Minimatic: Laudna is creepy and lovable (Critical Role Animatic C3E1) 

I think Laudna either forgets or is unaware that she is terrifying.

I would say neutral good, but good never the less.

I want to say its Chaotic Neutral.

And then after "from 40ft away" where she enthusiastically goes "YEAS!" but still kind of reserved and happy lol I like the little face icons Del did for her and Dorian at the end for the shouting.

Even before Marisha spoke as Laudna I was fascinated by the little mannerisms she was doing at the table when she was in character. Think I’ve already found my new favourite.

@@dubbingsync Quite honestly, Laudna can do no wrong in my book. Like even if she turns out to be pure evil I'll still be stoked. I eventually liked Keyleth, I liked Beau but wasn't super pumped about her, but Marisha struck gold with this one.

totally agree with you, couple reasons, The role play from Marisha is stunning, back story with white stone, but on top of all that, she is going to be creepy Travis out the whole campaign, and I am here for it. (side note, the demonic message needs to be the new uk'otoa this season),

It feels more like a cuter version of Percy's rampage in campaign one actually

Honestly my favorite was Beau cuz Beau reminds me of myself. Awkward and abrasive just trying to help people i care about but im kinda bad at it just like im bad at asking for help as well as afraid all the good things in life will fall away but character growth is key. Laudna is my favorite already as well tho. Percy was my favorite of vox machina.

@@privatizitat815 Oh, absolutely. Just saying Laudna is exactly my kind of character. From her scraggly topknot down to her gross, blistered feet. It's a heck of a first impression.

I originally liked the idea/ theme of Launda from the first episode and like Ashton, FCG, Imogen, and Fearne a bit for their own reasons each (mostly FCG), but now after two episodes, Launda is 100% my favorite of the new party.

@@dougvillegas8303 Nothing beyond the fact that Laudna is playing up the “creepy” tropes… …when eventually an Aberrant Mind Sorcerer will conjure tentacles & gain the ability to sprout gills & fins, slather themselves in ooze, and become so pliable that they can fit themselves through a 1 inch hole. It’s like…cosmic horror meets gothic horror. It’s going to be fun to watch reactions.

Honestly as much I am in love with Laudna I fucking love Ashton because he just radiates Burnt Out Theater kid energy and I'm here for it.

Laudna and FCG are currently tied for top for me, though Imogen is pretty close behind.

Well, fearne has potential to be evil, just because she doesn't seem to really have morals, FCG would probably protest to doing evil stuff, just wants to help, but with an intelligence of 7 I believe, probably not that hard to manipulate. Dorian I'm unsure about, he seems to have good intentions, but he has shown potential in the past. Orym definetly wont go evil. Ashton, I'm also unsure. He curses a lot and seemingly likes beating the shit out of stuff, but nothing about him really says he'd be malicious for any reason. Well, besides money maybe, but whatever. With a group that's less likely. Laudna seems to want to do good, while just being really scary. Lauras character, who I can't remember how to spell the name, so I won't even try, doesn't seem evil. They both help an old lady, so that already speaks for them being good, but she generally just seems like she wants to learn. And sir bertrand, I don't really know what to think of him. It's speculated he is either a changeling or a temporary character, but he seems like he's done a lot of shit in the past. Not necessarily evil shit, more incompetent shit, but I'm unsure. Again, we don't know anything about their greater motives or intentions, all of this is just speculation. Who knows, maybe half of them are secretly terrorist seeking to overthrow the country?

@@davidparkes7741 there's a few fan theories that laudna may be a dhampir, specifically the kind that feed on dreams/psychic energy. with imogen being an aberrant mind sorc, and obviously suffering from that psychic energy, they make a perfect couple in that laudna can literally eat imogen's pain away and it's just so romantic 🥰

@@baden4617 Hmm, very interesting. If she is one that makes my own personal theory/headcanon that a big part of her own personal storyline might be curing herself of whatever affliction she has that makes her look the way she does more believable. It is indeed romantic in a sense.
