i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
Here's my mining strategy: 1. Go to Caldari space 2. Mine Veldspar or Pyroxes, depending on my needs 3. Reprocess ores 4. H o b g o b l i n s 5. Sell H o b g o b l i n s at Jita 6. Profit
Thank you Matt Gilbert! Yeah WH solo seems to be way better than low/null solo. Very interested to see how it'll change when Rhea rolls out next month.
Thank you ReLoad this really helps me out... at first I was a little hesitant on mining in wormhole space, a lot of my fellow pilots said that its too risky but I think thats what makes the game interesting :D
You're very welcome Joseph Martinez! Risk definitely makes the game more interesting in my opinion as well. I'd recommend trying gas harvesting when skills allow you to, both for better profitability and a little less risk (gas harvesting cosmic signatures have to be first scanned down, ore sites are cosmic anomalies that anybody can warp to without using scanner probes). Fly safe! o7
Your vids are very helpful I've pointed a few newer players to them and they really were impressed. Only thing I want from you is maybe scanning down WH and soloing in tier 3 fits or black ops , and I'll be happy .
Your voice, your logic and your way of detailing what I have often struggled to understand...if the Amarr actually declare people saints, they should consider you (In all seriousness: Thanks, you're a greater help than you might realize!)
Michael S. Thank you very much! I am not sure if the Theology Council ordains capsuleers, including those of Caldari origin, but your nomination is greatly appreciated. :D Glad I could be of help!
Very much enjoy your videos; definite professional feel to them, and always packed with lots of useful info. In this one, though, I think the breakdowns you list for some of the ores into minerals are not correct. For example, you say Spodumain contains Megacyte, which it doesn't, and you show Hemorphite as breaking down into six minerals, when it only breaks down into four.
spectator59 Thank you for letting me know! I gathered all of the info from EVElopedia. It's possible that it's outdated now as there was a recent change to ore refining. I'll have to double-check in game.
+Esteban Meneguzzi Not that I know of... I think the nebulae textures have been subdued a bit in one of the latest releases, but I don't think I eve changed the graphics settings for the game :D
Hopefully somebody is still looking here. I wanna ask, let say there's no pvp player lurking around, just the guristas, sentry and npc around the rare ore asteroids. As a solo player, how can I counter this effectively other than wormhole? Like, can I just fit one Weapon and one Miner on a Venture to fight the sentries and npcs one by one? Or do I bring my Destroyer and clear the site, then bringing my venture to mine? Is there any other way?
Hey Reload, since the resources have been changed recently and this information isn't necessarily up to date or valid, are you going to redo the video at a future date?
I will! I'm waiting for the whole resource rework to be finalized before making a new guide. There's a few more changes coming to mining industry, I'm just not sure when they'll be implemented
Thank you Love Karma! I'm planning to get the basic w-space guide for gas harvesting/mining very soon and exploration tutorials are also in the works. Stay tuned!
Ever since I started EVE, more than a year ago I have been mining. I started by selling my ore to the corp I was in. That was very easy for me as a new player. Gave me a steady income to be able to buy my ships and while I waited to train up my skills. I mine what I feel like right now but that does not mean I sell it right away. I have 10 billion ISK worth of minerals sitting in Jita trade hub. Right now I am mining Ice in Minmatar space and I don't have processing skills for it nor do I have the standing or the combat skills to earn the better standings. That does not stop me from farming Ice and stockpiling it. Its easy to sell once you have it.
Bosnian Dragon Thanks for checking out my video! That's true, stockpiling it all can pay off well later on. Ice is one thing I never really got into. I tried it a few times but logistics of transporting it put me off of it at the time. Kinda interested to revisit it now though. I know for ore these days it's almost not worth it to reprocess because of the recent nerf. Probably the same applies to Ice, too.
Unfortunately, no. The specialized equipment you need to mine mercoxit is not accessible to alpha clones. Best case is gas harvesting if you're looking for ISK while "mining"
+Mark Cunningham You can find rare ore in high sec at cosmic anomalies. It's a random spawn in random systems, but it's a good find whenever you spot one :)
+Night Train123 Oh yeah, stockpiling is sometimes the best way to go. It's best to store the ore at a market hub station though. Ore takes up quite a bit of space in the cargo hold, and it's a pain to transport unless you have a freighter (or can hire one).
+Night Train123 You can, but it's tough to gauge when prices will rise and fall. It's better to put things on the market steadily over time unless you have insider information about when prices will rise.
Went into a wormhole in High-Sec Clan was waiting for people like me, cloaked and guns pointed. One of the members actually messaged me saying they were about to shoot me, and I warped the hell out of there.
Kawaii Penguin Yeah, there's a good chance that WH connections from high sec will be camped. I wonder why they'd message you instead of just attacking right away. Probably just baiting to see if you have friends coming in.
Reload No, I believe the pilot told me that they were camping because I was a newer player at the time. She/he gave me the chance to run off instead of losing my miner.
what is the difference between your video or a website about this topic? You just make important notes about the topic and so do they. You have to explain it, full energy in your voice, and enjoy what you are doing, not the thought of getting a diamond play button
Yeah that's very true Sevastopol S. I was ganked by them once when AFK-traveling (in an empty shuttle of all things), but never had to deal with them when mining before. They seem to be concentrated in specific systems, so avoidance could be the best strategy. I rarely mine AFK though since these days I do it in WH or low/null for the fun of it. That's a good point you bring up, thank you!
+naju332 Hehehe, I haven't mined seriously in a while, but I'd estimate about 16-17mill ISK/hr in high sec solo mining. With the Hulk, I could pull in ~1543m3 of ore per minute. You can translate that into ore of your choice and current market conditions to get a better ball-park estimate. o7
Thank you TheBienator! Mining is not for everyone's playstyle because it can be monotonous, but that doesn't mean you can't make it a bit more interesting by adding a bit of risk!
Thank you.. this made me look at ore mining corporation a little different.. I have a wormhole station and Corp mining operation.. so. It's hard to say what going to be worth selling Everytime I make a trip into known space to sell stuff or get supplies
In don't get the idea behind wormhole stations... How do you find your way back to the station if the wormhole closes? Do you just live in the wormhole forever as soon as you have a station there?
Thanks for your reply Reload. You should post some more videos. I enjoyed the ones you've created. Very helpful in my own development within the game. :)
Actually the logistics of moving a barge in is pretty easy. All you need is a prospect and a cov ops cloak. Buy a barge BPC and use a third party tool to sort out what ore or compressed ore you need to load up with. Buy your fittings and load them into cargo then move out. once you arrive just reprocess the ore and build your ship.
+Chris R that's true. You just have to hope that you won't encounter any serious gate camps along the way that will sink your investment. Otherwise it's a solid plan that'll pay back relatively fast
Reload Well... I've never lost a prospect doing it. Been at it for years too. I mean maybe if you had some really bad lag on a gate or something and it screwed up your timing on the cloak then you might die.
+Chris R yeah prospect is a tough one to catch. I used a transport ship before for something similar successfully. But prospect is a cheaper alternative :D
Nice word eargasm! From now on the video is 18+. Great video btw. In a few days I will fly my own prospect and give wh mining a try and hope not to die.
Thanks Carbonduck It! Good luck with WH mining! As long as you find a quiet system, it should be very lucrative and relatively safe. Hopefully one of my other videos will help you out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zDmLrjIUwNo.html o7
wwwelkam Interesting. Maybe it's dependent on which region you are in. According to this database eve-online.itemdrop.net/eve_db/universe/search/ Etherium Reach has systems as high as -0.1 that have Bistot.
wwwelkam If you do find it in null sec systems above -0.6, please let me know. I'm not sure how up-to-date the database I linked is. EVE University may be a more reliable source. I mostly mined in WHs, and I guess I simply got lucky when I went into null sec. I'll try to confirm it on my end, too, whenever I'm in null. Thank you very much for sharing this information! o7
Reload i think its much safe to mine in low sec than it is in high sec now....after get Ganked just mining ore cosmic Jaspet in high sec, because i Didn't have a permit, whats the point playing the game if your going get ganked in high sec all the time fallow the code.....what a scam
+David Stephens Honestly, if you're willing to risk mining in low-sec you might as well scan down a signature and mine gas in a venture in a wormhole. It's probably even safer than mining in lowsec.
Tom Oaks Market conditions are volatile. While it's true that high sec ore may beat out low sec ore in price, it's not a given every day. It also depends on the price of minerals if you're refining. With the recent changes to null sec ore mineral composition, it's now quite lucrative to mine in null sec.
