^THIS. Just change them to attack the Target I attack. I hate it when they go of Screen to go to Burger King or do whatever they want. That's the Reason i changed to bone Spear
Yeah it's pretty rough I'm 84 cant find that damn ring of mendeln and I'm struggling with T36 NM dungeons cause the minions just die all the time. I've taken minion damage reduction nodes and everything, your build is really similar to mine actually but I use decrepify instead of a basic skill. I can say however that minion health on items actually helps a lot and get as much armour as you can. The minions need more love from Blizzard cause they are at the bottom of the barrel of class builds.
Thia build is pretty trash mate . I mean i ran something very similar. I dropped the mages for more vulnerable damage which u will need and that build got me to mid 20s nm dungeons... i got the black river so i can explode 4 corpses at once and was seeing big numbers.. doing ticks off 800k on multiple enemies was good to see but it just takes way to long to ramp up... the fact the u have to use reap with the squishest character is a downfall... very similar build got me to nm 38s... u need the instant damage to go further and this build just takes too long to ramp up the damage.
As I said in the video, I am aware the place minions are in and was trying to make them work… the title literally says that Minions need a buff as this build is not F-Tier but it isn’t S-Tier either compared to how easily every other build clears! Hopefully in the future any builds involving minions will not need as much ramp time and can clear at faster speeds!🗿
I'm level 67 on my pure summon necro and trucking WT4 and have been since level 64. You have to go all in on summons for them to be effective. I can clear NM dungeons 5+ levels above my own with relative (albeit slow-paced) ease. Granted there doesn't seem to be any end game, high NM level viability on the same level as other classes/builds but its also less stressful.
I agree as I took my minions all the way to 75 WT4 and running NM dungeons, the damage and survivability of those minions is just rough and looks terrible compared to the clear speed of every other builds and class! Stand alone they look like they get the job done, then you look around and realize you are having to work way to hard to achieve clears compared to other builds that blink and kill at faster speeds…🥶
Minions are terrible overall. They get annihilated by elite packs. I have tried so many ways to buff them, but nothing seems to work. I stopped playing my necro until it’s addressed.
Once you get to Level 70+ WT4 and NM dungeons they just do not scale or keep up like every other builds clear speeds! They are good in any content before that but then fall off heavily even with full buffs and paragon allocation!🥶
@@ProfessorScythe I'm literally running 90+ nightmare dungeons atm in my late 80s min 3-5 levels above me with elite packs dying in less than a second sometimes and I haven't seen a single of my minions die in like 20 levels. You're just simply doing it wrong and people don't understand minion builds.
