I love your tutorials! I followed your guide for the Midori clone a while back (I asked for clarification about the elastic cord on your blog--not sure if you remember that, but I really appreciated the help). I just threw this wallet together in a few minutes this afternoon. I really like it. I didn't have any washers lying around for the corners so I just used a coin (American penny) for my template and it worked just fine.
I have been using it for quit some time and trust me if you get use to it it's awesome.it Cary all my checks, bills which are always more then 25 to 30.recites my ID driving licence bank cards shopping cards and 7 to 12 visiting cards.and some times even more stuff.well it won't carry coins and its Far better then other wallets.and I made almost 5 of these babies and trying different leather and colours too.i might make a video on this wallet too but kinda busy with work these days
Good idea. How would I do one exakt or very similar but without the elastic? Asking because the elastic eventuellt diesel on one and Will need to be replaced(wich I never was a very big fan of)?
Ariffin Bond it's a slotless design. It's not clear how you could add slots to this design - or why. I don't believe it's unsafe as it is. If you want slots don't make this.
Well, one could see a slot protecting the magnetic stripe of the cards from the grit this open design would expose them too. Also a slot with a thin piece of RFID would protect your cards from remote scanning. So there are two reasons people might like a slot.
