I am so grateful for this channel, I have got an app that said it was very good in teaching Korean but honestly, it's not as good as you are. I've learnt way more from you than from it. But do you have a recommendation on what subjects to learn in the best order? I've learnt how to read hangul but I don't know what to learn next.

Hi minchi. I do really love korean as a second language.i hope i can speak fluently asap :-)

Idk if you'll listen to me but after learning hangul, you should learn some basic phrases and vocabulary.

Kisa Sohma I feel the same way. I can read Hangul just fine but after that it seems like there's no real direction. Idk what apps u use but the only app I use is Korean drops which gives you only vocabulary words and not actual sentences which doesn't seem very useful but it actually is bc most apps teach you a sentence but don't actually explain what means what, or especially the particles or how the sentence is structured. With that app I've learned 1,000+ words in a month but that's bc I have nothing else in life to do lol. So in terms of learning sentences and phrases I listen to this channel, and Korean unnie RU-vid channel, talk to me in Korean RU-vid channel, and I use the talk to me in Korean free website that gives you hundreds of really well explained phrases with free pdfs you can print or write down yourself. That's what I have been doing because Korean particles or sentence structuring is too difficult in my opinion 😒😒. Idk if your into kdramas or already watch them but I recommend watching the best hit on dailymotion.com because in my opinion the phrases are so simple and not too complicated. Also because it's the only one I'm watching hahaha!! I know this comment was overkill because I know how u feel. If anyone has any tips on what order is best to learn Korean vocab let me know too :-). Good luck!!

I have some words where i have repeated them in my daily like (desk, i dont have it, left, right, talking, suddenly, and, however, because, etc…just random vocab) and that’s the information I don’t think I can forget and I don’t “translate” them in my head anymore. It’s just putting them together for a sentance 🤣🤣. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CHANNEL!

민지 선생님, 안녕하세요! I’m currently attending a Korean class (beginner level going into intermediate). I was wondering if you could make a video regarding popular Korean expressions in the classroom. I think this would be very helpful to those who are also going through the same method of learning. I would really appreciate it, pretty please! By the way! Thank you for the tips! 💜💜

Can you explain the difference between 되다 and 하다 verbs? Example: 긴장되다 and 긴장하다
@AKADriver
@AKADriver 6 лет назад
"action" vs. "situation": 긴장하다 is "to be nervous", 긴장되다 is more like "to be made nervous". www.indiana.edu/~korean/K202/G9_6.html

I can read, write, and make most sentences just fine. But then the complicated particles and long detailed sentences trip me up. I've been studying really hard for a year as much as I could, because I really want to become a translator in the future. As much as I still want to take it easy and not stress myself out about it, it's hard since I know what my goal is. And knowing that I'm far from it doesn't help😬even though I'm somewhat young, I still worry about it 😅 If you see this comment, please give me your tips or thoughts on what I said to possibly help me out. 감사합니다~ great video by the way

How are you doing now?
@isabella-1796
@isabella-1796 11 месяцев назад
@@jolieusher I'm doing great now!! Korean has become super easy to me, even to where I get my English and Korean mixed up at times. I can read great, listening is a lot better to where I can understand almost everything unless its about science, super heavy politics, those kinds of fields. I don't want to be a translator that much anymore, but I'm definitely a lot closer to my current goal now than I was when I commented on this video :)

Thank you😊 Also I'm really confused with something People say that when ㅅbecomes the bottom letter it becomes the sound 't' But i hear people speak it and it sounds like s What is the correct way to do it
@thoniesh
@thoniesh 6 лет назад
aesthetixcs x It could sound like an 's' when followed by a vowel sound in the next word. It's a 't' when ending a sentence or when the next word also starts with a consonant. Eg 있다 this has a 't' sound 'itda' 있어요 this has an 's' sound 'isoyo'

I wish they would put subtitles on the structure of Korean sentences instead of the way we do it in English. Just so that I could get more used to the sentence structure. Seeing it in English, but hearing the structure in Korean is odd😆
