Minn Card-Draw Illusion Swarm Tribal! 

I've been waiting for an illusion tribal commander for SO LONG

I been playing this deck for a few weeks now and it is really powerful. When you get a field of Illusions in play players have a dilemma, they can board wipe but then you get to play you hand for free. I play with a low instant/Sorcery count so a board wipe just means a board shift for me as I will just play out my hand. I added the Jace and lab man to this deck but I have always won by combat damage way before they become relevant in the deck.

Awesome deck, I think also enchantments which lets you draw an extra card like Teferi's Ageless Insight are premium in a deck like this!

This deck seems super powerful. Anytime you get benefits from drawing cards, which you need to do anyway, you can have a big advantage. Throw in getting to cheat mana costs and you have a hell of a commander.

Glad you did this one! I really liked her when I first saw her. Hadn't thought of the Umezawa inclusion!

I love this card for my Tetsuko deck. I saw it and nearly lost my mind.

Helm of the Host may be good in this deck to put on your commander, get double or triple the Illusions plus double or triple effects when the Illusions die

Great video! There’s so much support for this kind of deck, can’t wait to brew it myself. One spicy illusion creature card to consider including would be Spark Double. Lots of awesome creature and planeswalker cards that you could target!

The fact that “You find the villain’s lair” is even suggested to play in any deck proves how unreasonably good “faithless looting” is

Been using her in my Grazilaxx deck, which has been very fun. Replacing the token every time you attack is hilarious

Minn + Meloku + High Tide/Extraplanar Lens = infinite Mana, infinite Meloku tokens, infinite token ETB.

Teferi's Ageless Insight would make it more likely to make an illusion every turn, otherwise maybe a Reflections of Littjara to double some of our illusions and make it so that Ixidron or perplexing test is even more one sided, maybe test out Deeka as well, her tokens aren't illusions but she can make sure our tokens go through

Illusionary Servant is probably better than Illusory Angel here. The "cast another spell first) basically makes Angel (at least) a four-drop.

Been trying to work on a budget version for a smiliar deck since she was revealed but I just can't seem to find good replacements to the most expensive cards (I find Toothy Expensive for reference). Has anyone got any tips or suggestions? Illusions was my first deck back in the day when I started and I really want an EDH deck focused on that, so happy about this commander

But wouldn’t skullclamp not work with the x/1 minn tokens since they don’t hit the graveyard? Unless I’m misunderstanding what happens to tokens when they die

Here is my issue.. I want to pump my tokens but not the defense because ideally I want them to die to do the strongest things in magic. Cheat mana costs and ideally I want that cheating of mana cost to be effects that helps me draw more effectively on each turn. So not only I’ll be hitting my land drops my token game will be constant so losing a few is no issue because I can regain them fast. Those token pump cards are great but they don’t protect my commander and pump the toughness, ideally 1 toughness I can abuse the rogue with 1 toughness or less and skull clamp which is powerful card draw. Ixidron is great but also very very bad removing the point of having high powered illusions to cheat mana costs.

I got the secret sauce noone is talking about. Attunement, standstill, and archmage ascension. I would steer clear of sorceries. I'm only running two. Getting permanents out and threatening people for even attacking you seems to be a strong strategy.

On card would just make this a blue aggro is Tetsuko Umerzawa, Fugitive. Lmao may have to brew this up. Roflmao really should wait till after I watch the video before I make a comment. Lmao Tho Illusionist Bracers on Minn Double the draws Double the illusions
