Hey so I thought I would write you a little review on this deck as I played it a few days ago. I made some changes mainly due to budget and my playgroup. Here are the changes. Format:(I took Out) - (I Put It) Demonic Tutor - Counterspell Fierce Guardianship - Paradox Haze (A Must have in the deck imo) Toxic Deluge - Delay Mishra's Bauble - Damnation Sensei's Divining Top - Pyhis of Pandemonium Ancient Tomb - Island Cabal Coffers - Swamp Polluted Delta - Swamp Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth - Island Urza's Saga - Island I played 4 games with it, I whiffed on one, 2 I got very close to winning and won my last one once I got the hang out of the deck. First off this deck is extremely fun. I feel like it really gives me control of the game. I can either landlock someone or I can help them out and it opened things up to a lot of political deals being made. This is probably going to be a forever commander for me, I couldn't believe how much fun I was having while playing. My group even was having fun with it. I'm sure they got frustrated the few times I land locked them when they were getting a little out of hand, but hey that's the game right. I will say there was a few cards that I found being stuck in my hand and didn't want to play. 1 - Silundi's Vision. Cool card but I think there are just better ones out there. I played it as a land every time. 2 - Field of the dead - I think it's a cute idea. Your playing your opponents land to trigger it but your mostly playing one land on your turn, and sometimes you don't want to play your opponents land so I think it just doesn't jive very well. 3. Circu, Dimir Lobotomist - The concept of this card is awesome, but the problem I had was that it exiled the cards. I found that I wanted to keep cards in my opponents graveyards and I would prefer a card that milled instead of exiled. 4. Bolas's Citadel - Once again i think this is a cute card in this deck, it goes on theme, but without having a way to increase my life total this felt pretty dead most of the time. Being xanathar I felt like I had a target on my back as soon as I pulled it out so even if I got it out I don't think I'd feel comfy even having it on the field. 5. Ashok, Dream Render - Same as the problem with Circu. in 3/4 games I played I felt like Scarab God was my Win Con, he's almost like a secret commander in the deck. And with Ashiok exiling their graveyards I felt like I was being pulled in two directions. Now Graveyard hate did play a factor in my game and it was useful, but I think I am gonna swap this card out for a card that does more targeted graveyard hate 6. Kiora Bests the Sea God. - Really expensive and by the time I could cast this I just felt like I would rather be playing cards off my opponents deck. Overall I love your build and plan to make my own changes with your as the base. I think overall my plan is to throw in 1 or 2 more board wipes, another graveyard hate card, protection, and some counter magic. Keep up the amazing content! I'm planning on building some of the other deck you have put up for sure

4:49 Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer to let my opponent draw that land so they can’t use any spells against me. Still a cool deck tech!

Love your deck techs... this deck is a feel bad deck... and I already have a feel bad dimir deck so I just slotted this into my Tevesh / Sakashima deck... so if I draw it then I'll get a couple of them :)

I keep being told that Sphinx of the Second Sun doesn’t work with this Commander. That it skips over your second main phase

Was planning on making a deck kind of like this about a month ago before I knew Xanathar and the pre con was coming out. Hoping prices stay low for a little bit as I build the deck

Fun fact i played a game with a pretty high average mana cost, combine that with me getting bad economy and opponent xanathar and he played more of my creatures than i did

Could someone explain to me how the Subtlety/Memory Lapse combo works? It doesn’t make any sense to me? They seem like two unrelated things? Trying to learn!

it immediatly went into my Sen Triplets. stil considering making xanathar my new commander. too much unreasonable hate from people. in xanathar the mill rocks from lantern control would be cool.

Xanathar and Sphinx of the Second Sun don’t work well together, since you won’t have a main phase after the second upkeep to play those cards.

I think we should stop promoting this toxic play style honestly but that’s just my opinion.

I hate to be that guy, but at 6 cmc, this commander won't have much of an impact. You're better off playing triplets.
