Taxes go up repair costs go up insurance goes up . . I’m a property owner and good renters are impossible to find . I charge a market price . Why should I go broke and let my investments go to crap . Free markets !
get a real job asshat. housing isn’t an investment its a human right. if its hard to find a good renter maybe you should have considered that beforehand lol. you know investments are supposed to have a thing called “risk” 😂
I understand why rent control seems like a compassionate approach to keep people off the streets and allow for affordable housing. Unfortuately, I also understand that landlord's are in it for the money, and not in a bad way. The reason to own a rental property is to make money by providing a place to live for their tenants. And while compassion is important, each rental property and lease agreement is a business transaction. How is a landlord going to keep up with the cost of utilities, insurance, and other major expenses as other vendors and services get expensive. Landlords shouldnt absorb all the costs. It would cause them to lose there cash flow or even not be able to pay the mortgage.
