Even Christ preached that we would enherit the earth rather than enherit heaven! You read the Bible the way you want to believe it, rather than the cryptic way it tells you the truth without blatantly telling you the truth. Heaven was meant for spirit's and souls. Environment is so important. Parents too often only see IQ and neglect EQ, which leads to all sorts of deficiencies. I'm glad to see that it looks like he's getting a proper childhood.
@crimsonshadow just imagine if the parents had considered keeping him in public school with kids his age because "he should not miss out on his childhood"...ohhh goodness, he had missed out on so many opportunities. It's so good that in the US and other Western countries kids can be moved in advanced classes or to college/university if they are geniuses. There are countries where kids don't have these chances. 😞😢☹️
@@kathybuck983 I think its quite the opposite, even more so if they're properly supported (such as this kid). High IQ people usually adopt healthier habits, are wealthier and better at problem solving, all of these correlates with living a long life.
That's a sign of autism, it's a form of stimming. Many autistic individuals are highly intelligent, but struggle with social queues. This is the difficult dichotomy where they generally have to work for someone else as running a company requires high EQ.
I dont think its completly the parents doing per say. Aside from merging there genes and general guidance. The pieces just fell into place for this individual.
I hope this kid is okay in 10 years. Being a child prodigy is a huge amount of pressure for a young adult. It’s very difficult for someone in that position to remain happy and well-balanced. I wish him all the best, but fear that he will struggle with either feeling superior to his peers and isolating himself by ostracizing people or, conversely, being crushed under the weight of his own “potential” and becoming depressed. I hope his family continues to offer him the support he needs to be successful and happy. Godspeed, buddy!
I'd say he's already on a positive track, considering he enjoys tutoring others; it sounds like developing an ego and god complex is not in his nature. Hope he is able to keep his positive outlook.
Must be super nice. But I feel like there is a downside. He’s going to want challenges and if everything is easy than he gets bored. Boredom can become depression after long periods of time.
Don't envy him. Most gifted kids suffer from mental illnesses and have trouble making friends/lack social skills. I'd rather not be so gifted but have a normal social life
I understand why you envy that, but I gotta say be glad about what you have. I envy people like you, who can learn and understand at all. There is always someone better off than you and someone worse. ❤

the joy in this is that they are encouraging him, not telling him to 'enjoy' being a kid. He looks like he's a happy boy, and I hope he keeps on this way...
Big props to the parents...Its very difficult and challenging raising a child prodigy....You have to try and balance giving your kid a somewhat normal childhood while nurturing and challenging their constant want and need for knowledge that continuously changes and excels at a rapid speed...It must be exhausting to try and keep up with a child who exceeds your intelligence by the time they're 10....
You are absolutely correct kittykat. Excellent observation and comment, almost as if you have been close to such a situation yourself. Far more interesting and intelligent than the comments below yours, mine included.
Most child prodigies go on to become professors. Very few go beyond that . The burst of creative imagination is rare and usually by non prodigies ( still , by very brilliant people). Before you accuse me of being envious, I’m not ! Its plain facts. But I wish him well and hope he makes the next breakthrough, whatever that may be.

People love learning. They always have and always will. People hate school because it's not learning it's memorisation. My son is gifted and I heard that super smart people end up with mental health issues later in life. I concerned me for years. Then just when I forget about, my son started having problems as an adult. I pray that this does not happen to him.

The hardest part is feeling lonely and not relating to 99% of the population. Give him social skills, make sure he goes outside, and make sure he understands emotions and becomes self aware. Unfortunately, these kids of precocious talents rarely become influential in their fields. They reach their peak sooner but they don’t peak higher than others in their field. It’s a strange thing. One issue may be that they’re funneled through a system too quickly and lose the benefits of interacting with age peers
There are high schoolers with 7ft tall bodies. As a teacher, I've seen 6ft middle schoolers and middle schoolers with thick facial hair. It's not crazy to me that there are kids with "7ft tall" minds.
I hope this boy stays this sweet forever and that world doesn't take his innocence too soon. People like this are expected to grow up too fast and never really get a childhood. I hope everything he does is his idea and no one takes advantage of his innocence/ignorance ever. Bless this boy!
I agree, but I don't think gifted children like this would find satisfaction from the standard childhood things we look back on fondly. Can you imagine playing with kids who are like cavemen compared to you, when all you want to do is discover the secrets of the universe 😅

I had the honor and pleasure of attending a talk he gave during the pandemic. It was only virtual, but even then I could sense greatness in his brilliant young mind. @barn8642 a lot of "smart" people suck at grammar. There's so many typos in the tests I take for EMS it actually slows me down. I have to reread it a few times, then try not to think about how these geniuses are also my bosses and medical directors.
Yeah, very weird. I had faster benchmarks than this child, but my parents, who were teachers, held me back intentionally so I'd be alongside my peers. (Although I kinda wish they hadn't.)
I taught AP calculus when I was in high school because the teacher was incompetant. More of a mark on public education than the skill of the student in my opinion. It's obvious this kid has had a lot of encouragement and support from parents
Just protect him. Let's keep the pressure off. Too many stories of prodigy kids burning out and deciding to become janitors because of too many expectations being a crippling factor. Which, even in a janitorial role, is still "doing something for humanity".

All my teachers and classmates loved me very much because I helped everyone, and they told me that I was very intelligent, although I was never diagnosed as anything different, because my parents never really cared what I did or who I was. They only fulfilled the most basic obligations of parenting. Coming into college, everything was very chaotic and stressful for me. And I ended up collapsing into a bundle of anxiety and depression. I studied three different degrees and I was outstanding in all of them, but my mental health, never fully improved; the time passed, and I did not manage to graduate from any of the degrees. People keep telling me I'm super smart, but now I live alone with my dogs and birds, and I have a simple job as an administrative assistant. I'm glad he's happy. A lot of child prodigies get pushed into intense studies whether they like it or not because they have potential and/or the parents want them to be famous. He obviously chose this and looks very happy. 😊
I hate to say this, but people like him attract a lot of resentment from those who do not understand! His life may not be as clear-cut as his parents would like it to be! A crash and burn is likely! Aside from all that riveting rhetoric I hope he succeeds were others haven't!
This child is lucky to have understanding parents, teachers and an educational system that allows gifted children to study according to their talents and not their age.
A lot of people forget how intense schooling used to be, and how early they used to teach people and how as long as somebody was willing to learn, they would keep teaching them that schools used to not exist. There was only places where you could go to talk to scholars and philosophers. You had to go study you had to pledge yourself to another person
Yes protect him. I hope he is introduced to the Bible and reads it over and over again. In doing so, he will know peace and happiness. I pray he uses his talents and teachings for helping to better man. Having love, mercy and forgiveness for our brethren is a far greater gift to man kind than the interworkings of the universe. Everything we need to know and understand is in the Bible; some things we are not meant to know.
I've had the pleasure of working with gifted kids, and my biggest wish for this amazing young person is that he finds friends who appreciate him, enjoys lots of laughter, and stays healthy while accomplishing such incredible things.
Just think how many kids have this potential but do not grow up in a safe and supportive environment. Behind just about every prodigy is an amazing family.
He's one of those awakened kind of people. He remembers things from his passed life. I've heard of this, however, I never expected to actually see such a person.
This is insane but i also feel kind of sad for him, he obviously loves learning but i hope once he gets older and starts working he doesnt regret not allowing himself to be a kid.
He looked like he was still having fun. The alternative would be to keep him in a class with students the same age as him, being very bored and probably disruptive.
That’s not how it should go This is his way of playing which you and me won’t understand It’s not always about Doing the things everybody else does he is a special individual and should enjoy those things what was gifted to him
I wonder what happens during the creation of the fetus or the genetic process or whatever its called, that makes the brain develop in this way for some babies but not others. Wouldn't it be great if all of our brains had whatever he has inside of his?? They should clone this kid so that we can have more intelligent people in the world😂
This is how one of my children was. He was three years old and had me doing three digit addition for fun. Followed by multiplication and taught himself to read at 4. He did math workbooks instead of coloring. In kinder they had him doing book reports.

Elliott is our future! Wish more kids are out there. He should run for President, then again, his pure thoughts and innocence will be too much for older politicians to handle. Hope he continues to succeed truthfully in life! WE NEED MORE LIKE HIM!!!
@@Handley941They have a point. My son was diagnosed as autistic savant. Stemming and being gifted in certain areas are just a couple things. I believe they where making a observation more than (labeling). It's super rare, that's why you don't come across this much.
