Tough opener! I have never fished on opener and up north in Minnesota where I was, on lake Emily and lake Roosevelt, the water temps were still well below spawning temps. It was boat problem after boat problem, I was lucky to get the one I did.
Memorial Day weekend was a different story, found the bass and had a blast, but of course other factors lead me to not being able to record it.
