Lake Bemidji State Park was GREAT. However, if you are headed out there I strongly recommend you avoid tent site #88! I didn't notice any other sites with the same issue but you might want to check if you are going there. Hope this helps!
I wouldn't feel comfortable in that spot either. I would leave too. As far as camping, it's all a work in progress and I agree with you that it will get easier the more you do it. Looks like you've got the inside of your car dialed in so no need to be discouraged that you haven't got all the wrinkles ironed out yet. 😊
When I am car camping away from everyone and immersed in nature it takes me about 2 weeks in it for my mind to slow completely down to truly appreciate the experience and feel relaxed. Try not going on a script and have fun. Document your fun. I hit like on your video because you shared what you learned. I miss Minnesota. I was dispersed camping there a few weeks ago and the weather was awesome. I think you are an awesome adventurous sweet natured person.
🎉🎉🎉you’re definitely going to get more relaxed the more you camp. I love out of my suv with two dogs and it’s an adventure every time. ❤be safe and keep living!
Your doing just GREAT, keep it up your out there to experience what nature give you. Listen to your gut all the time if you feel uncomfortable. You BRAIN is full breath and relax.
Pretty cool spot, have fun on this trip, and do not listen to those who tell you to smile, let the smile come as you feel it not as a troll advises. I do not always smile means absolutely nothing, except I am not smiling. Allow yourself to experience what every makes you have calmness, and positive things will come out of this. Your dog is ok and do not worry about others, you are in your own space.
I think it’s important for you to show your struggle ,and ,also how you overcome it, your struggles can help others have the courage to keep moving forward like you are doing. No matter what. Love yourself when you make your decisions.
ALWAYS leave when things feel weird and the vibe is OFF. People driving up to your camp over and over again. was WILD and would spook anyone. At night it would have been nuts. You made the right choice.
Love your videos! Following your instincts and leaving a situation is a survival skill, not a fail. That was a really weird spur. You definitely should do you, but maybe give camping in a campground another try. You can use google maps to check campsites out before making your reservation. It takes a little more time but can prevent a similar situation from occurring and helps you to locate the best spots.
Hey Claire and Parker ♥️🙋♀️♥️ Always be You girl, No need for any script to follow when you don't want to! That screened tent is neat and absolutely you could do your excercises in it 👍Yeah that was weird little campsite, Good to go with your gut for peace of mind or safety. Claire maybe to relax more like you were talking, maybe not worry about filming a couple trips and try to enjoy it, or just a couple min video, I hope you do work this out 😊 I love camping. Lovely video girl ♥️♥️♥️ ps the ending 😅👍
Yeah, that camp spot wasn't set up that good! I like privacy when im in a campground! Good job keeping the camera rolling. I have the same problem, that's why I haven't done a video in months. ❤
Oh wow thank you so much for this comment. Sorry you're going through that. I probably would have stopped and never finished if I hadn't seen Miranda Goes Outside!'s video about when she was camping and had that panic attack. Mine was not a full blown panic attack but remembering her video gave me courage to go on. ❤️
Honestly, Claire, I would have been very uncomfortable at that campsite. I'm sorry it worked out that way. Thank you for the information about that particular site #88.
Cool video ! I’ve been wanting to make it out to Minnesota and see what’s there . Also you don’t need to smile more . People just need to keep quiet and mind their own business . Just be yourself
GOOD JOB Claire! Just found your channel and a new sub. No, you didn't ruin the video. It's always better to be honest and a little vulnerable - because that's what our viewers connect to. Right?? I might be a little TOO honest on mine, but oh well. Sorry you struggled a bit, but great job and keep it up! 👍🌼🌺🌼👍 (I'm in Saint Paul btw...) 😊
Forgetting your stuff reminded me of my big forget a few years ago. Took my nephews to the Science Museum for one of those overnight trips (sleep in the museum things). Got there and realized I was focused on their stuff and left my sleeping bag, mat and...well, everything of mine at home. That museum was COLD in February! :) The right camp site is key in any trip, you got a stressful one, but there are plenty of parks and plenty of good sites. Don't give up totally yet! For the record, I tune in to see how Claire is doing and adventuring- not how she acts to show something. You go with what works for you, you go with You. There is plenty of adventure in that for RU-vid. You can't ruin a video by being true to yourself. No worries.
It might not have worked out as planned, now you know not to choose a pull-through site. That’s what they are called. Live and learn! People with trailers like those sites because there’s no backing up.
🎉🎉🎉you’re definitely going to get more relaxed the more you camp. I love out of my suv with two dogs and it’s an adventure every time. ❤be safe and keep living!keep your options open especially with a reactive pooch. I’ve been made to feel unwelcome because of my two barking. ❤ hip camps are great
Hi Claire and Parker, I love Minnesota, I hope to move there one day, my friend and I use to go to Grand Marais to his family's cabin and go canoeing and camping, hunting and fishing, honestly the best times of my life. I agree with you on the taking a breather when you get overwhelmed, Don't get me wrong, I love seeing the raw uncut Claire, but if you need to stop recording and get your thoughts together, you should, it is good to get outside your comfort zone but not so far out you have an anxiety attack. I also agree you should smile more, you have a beautiful smile that can light up a room and brighten someone's day. Can't wait for more of you and Parkers adventures, ❤ y'all and be safe.
@@ClairenParkerontheRoad You are welcome, I had some of the best times of my life there, if ya get a chance to go, the Gunflint Trail is awesome, lots of hiking trails and amazing campsites with breathtaking lake views, there are some black Bear and the mosquitoes are thick up there but it is worth the drive. 😁
Next time you go to a campground try to get a back in site. You were in a pull thru for a large trailer. I was thinking Id sure like to take you along on a camping trip and show some pointers. Try to find some camp buddies might make thing go a little les stressfull
@@ClairenParkerontheRoad your welcome just don’t change who you are go by your gut if you don’t feel safe always listen to that little voice inside and you will be fine.. God bless you and I pray you have a wonderful journey
Camp wherever you want and feel safe. Your dinner looked delicious. Screen house was a nice addition. How difficult was it to fold down and get back into the car?
It was a little complicated because it was the first time. But once I finally packed it back up I realized that it was simple and easy to do. It just was hard at first because I didn't read the directions first.
