Hi! When I'm not work camping, this channel is dedicated to going on adventures while camping/ living out of my Ford Fiesta hatchback with my amazing travel companion and best friend, Parker the pup. Come join us!
Girl, don't burn the candle at both ends! You drive till 3:30 a.m., then go on and on about your power source on an empty stomach, THEN start cooking. At some time afterwards, your dogs had to be let out, and you needed sleep till almost about noon to be alert for your next round of driving to wherever you're going. And I would suggest don't drive at night. One reason is safety of course. The other is that different states have way worse road conditions than others. Better chance to see potholes at a distance during the day than to happen upon them at night. Be free yes, but be smart about it, too.
You are young but you will learn what works best for you; if you are feeding Parker even if you are going hungry because you keep driving, that makes you a great dog mom. It seems like you are at least considering some suggestions to stay safe on your travels? I am hoping that you will build a channel of subscribers, best wishes to you and you darling pup!
I just found you. I love your energy. I love your dog. I have one too. What kind of vehicle is this? I have a Mazda CX5. I really love it but I’m reconfiguring all the time because of lack of space and bathroom. I have a porta potty but it’s still a pain. What do you do?
Hi, mine does not take this long at all, but I am usually just warming up food and not cooking from scratch. The last time I used it I put in room temperature gnochi and when I checked on in after 15 min it was practically hot. Maybe it's a different model? I know there's a couple variants of the brand that look fairly similar. Were you warming food up or starting with something like raw meat?
@@ClairenParkerontheRoad I just cook a cup of rice. I remember when I first got it, I'm pretty sure it took a hour and a half but it's been 10 months since then. I cook with it everyday, maybe it's asking for a retirement... I think I need a new one or buy the one that has a house plug in. Thank you for your reply!
@elyajvlogs sure no prob. Up to this point I've used it exclusively for heating things up, so that could be why. I will have to try cooking with raw ingredients/foods sometime.
I would buy something for heating up the car when approaching the winter. There are little tiny and save car heaters for sale working on electricity. Since you already have a tiny Jackery kind of looking thing in your car,I would certainly try to get one of those tiny heaters for your car! With love from the Netherlands ♥️
Hope you have fun and safe traveling. Congratulations on the power station. It will make car camping a lot easier. I have a cable to charge my vehicle from my power station. Great thing to have if your battery dies. They are usually less than 20 dollars.
Nice purchase that will help make your trip more enjoyable. I usually just use an electric blanket on top of a sleeping bag when it gets cold and turn it on for enough time to feel comfortable. Safe travels. I wish you and Parker a memorable adventure and letting me ride along.
When based in cold climate ? That's why nomads fix vehicles into campers. Drive to the southwest like the rest of us. You won't get too many hours of below freezing temps there .
I think that power station is great, you can sneak it in a pouch and charge it just about anywhere. Is it Katy travails or Katie. I always look to new you tubers
That looks like a great power stations, I have a couple of different brands that I'm testing for a couple of companies, if you have any questions feel free to fire them at me , I have a background with power and spent years working with power, plus I do have some discount codes. It's absolutely correct you don't need a huge power station , just one that works for you. Parker was jealous I think LOL You definitely are getting your car laid out to work for you, I wish I was a tinier guy so I could be more mobile in the back of my truck , but I'm a big guy and I have a BIG dog and a small truck LOL. I am gearing up a diesel heater for overnights will see how that goes. Hope you have a great weekend my friend
Hey, thanks, I appreciate that. Diesel heater seems like the holy grail of vehicle heating and if I had a little bit bigger of a rig I'd be going for it!
@@ClairenParkerontheRoadAn invertor isn't going to charge that EBL 330 you have any faster since the fastest it will charge is 60W input anyway. But lets say you bought a Bluetti AC 70 or 180. Those power stations can charge as fast as 960 watts on AC. Bluetti also sells an invertor that connects to your car battery and can output 500 watts. Having a nicer power station that outputs 1800 watts to run an induction cooktop or microwave oven and can charge at 500 watts from your battery invertor makes solar panels a waste of money and time for the most part.
Spray paint reflectix black on one side, black in the sun will make them hot to the touch, get wool sick, changing socks few times a day is important in winter our feet sweat...the floor of a vehicle get cold ..I just realized Parker has legs..Soo cute..nice video..ty
