The Wild are definitely going to be doing penalty shots in practice. MAF gave them so many chances to win and his shooters couldn't even hit the damn net.

Pretty sure there's a shootout fail compilation video here on YT and the most prominent team with appearances are the Wild lol. They don't mix well with shootouts!

@conorcahill5422 but they also have one of the best in the shootout last year, Freddy G. Wild coach even said in post game they need him back he's the security blanket. Freddy can have the worst game and win the shootout like it's nothing. Shootouts just need to go

I'm not too familiar with the intricacies of the rules of a penalty shot/shootout, but I always thought that the rule was that you had to have a consistent forward movement. To me, it looked like Strome went backwards a bit. If his shot went in, would it have counted and would there be an opportunity to review it?

I cannot express to you how tedious the slowdown shootout attempts are. Just skate in, try to beat the goalie at full speed, move on. It's the one thing I truly hate about Patrick Kane's career, he was one of the big starting points for this annoyance.
