Ollu giitu for sharing, there are a few sámi learning tools! Namely Memrise! You do however have to pay a monthly fee. They have courses for a lot more than just davvisámegiella. I did notice this video and the things preventing you from releasing it in a timely manner stressed you out a little 😂 that’s very typical for anyone getting into our language. It has been a real struggle to keep our mother tongue, we weren’t allowed to speak Sámi in our homelands until the 80s and 90s in Sweden the government won’t help our people join classes so we cannot communicate with family or be fluent enough to properly integrate. So it’s only fair anyone else would struggle just as much or even more so. Extremely appreciate you putting out this video ❤ I’m American Sámi student practicing grammar for written and spoken davvisáme and there’s a lot of information and books out there but very few videos.

Awesome video! I am Norwegian and trying to learn this language, which is the largest minority language in my country, and despite searching hard for good information about it this video beats everything I’ve found so far! I live outside of the main davvisamegiella areas which probably complicates things but still... Great work!
It's so hard to find resources, I live in Kristiansand so never got a chance to learn it in school, but I'm trying to learn it now. Where are you from?
@@david82633 Trondheim :) I am not of Sami descent (as far as I know) so I never had any right to learn in school either. Currently I am using Davvin through Folkeuniversitetet, but it seems very dated! The best resource I’ve found so far are flash cards on Memrise.
