Maybe its just me, but the Minotauro feels A LOT more mobile compared to before, and the nerf to the cupolas aren't as bad as people say they are. Now that the Minotauro is a lot more mobile, you can actually wiggle your tank/turret between shells unlike before. I believe Scorpiany said that this rework was a buff for good players but a nerf for bad players and I actually agree with him.
Which would be the first time ever that wargaming made the game less noob friendly. I'm sure they will make amends by buffing the pen of the heat shells to 400mm and then nerfing the accuracy of the gun
It was a nerf, make no mistake about it. If you face a player with good aim and more than 300 penetration it is likely game over now if you can't retreat or eliminate him quickly.
@@wdujsub7902 probably its how it should be now. I just find this statement so stupid that it would be better for better players now. It's worse for everyone, but better players can cope better obviously.
It's nice to see WG actually adjusting the armor layout of a tank instead of turning it into a total pile of garbage that nobody wants to play, but is still borderline unkillable hulldown, like Kran.
This TD is still powerful but not the powerhouse it was before. It's a little bit more nimble but honestly, the difference isn't as much as many might think. At least you won't sit in front of the whole team knowing you are invincible lol
What do you mean the changes are minimal. What do you mean the tank is not ruined? The ONLY good think about it was the good hull down. Now when they look you in the face you get rekt. Why would I play it anymore? 03:10 ... THIS is not okay.
The difference is before you needed gold ammo to pen the cupola weakspot. Now you can do it with regular rounds 240+ AP is enough. So before it was only effective armor vs ppl who didn't aim or spam gold.
for me its better now, more nimble and mobile,you will still bounce,and those cupolas are not easy to hit. mobility was bigger buff than armor nerf. opinions will vary from player to player.
I don't know why this tank was such a problem for everyone when things like the Object 705A exist that also has an unpenetrable turret, sides, upper hull. But the mino with strong turret is the big deal? The Armor was this tanks only selling point. It's like taking an FV4005 and making the HESH deal 600dmg less but hey, it's okay bcs it's still highest in game alpha right? This is just stupid.
It feels way less reliable now, the E3 is now better imo. Still, with the better mobility and no nerf (thank you for that) to the gun it can still have many great games.
That maybe the case but the nerf changed the one stat this tank was actually good at, sitting in-front of enemies. I.e., this tank has not good dpm, has not good pen (for TD), gun soft-stats are bad and below average damage per shot (for TD), this is the trade-off for the armor. You have to be up and close to be reliable with the gun. Compared to HT - which may be the role intended - it has less HP and is not that mobile. So no bueno there. What is the purpose now that it can't play the role it was designed to. Its just a slow heavy with somewhat good armor - however, show me just one T10 match where there is not gold flying around as standard all the time - but everything worse elsewhere, coupled with a unreliable gun. IMO the "nerf" did more than change some statistics but make the tank less useful for the "one reason" it exists.
I have sold it for the BASSOTTO, more fun even tier 6. Against TD or heavies with gun accurracy i was always hittes with new wig spots. Bassotto 5 stars is deserve and more fun for me 😊
So tired of the BS Cupola damage, as reality, the cupola doesn't impact the tank or crew, in reality. So much for WOT's ability to recreate tanks, real or paper design

I quit playing right before this tank came out and even I could tell that the mino was worse than the badger. With the mobility buffed and the cupolas nerfed it's either a tiny buff or a large nerf, will be interesting to see where it lands.
Now they need to fix the progetto 65 since it was over nerfed... Subtle well balanced nerfs like this is much better and I think everyone appreciates it at the end of the day
Expected this rating, WG nerves tank, content creators sell the changes as still playable. And yeah it‘s not the worst tank now, so be happy! Don’t compare to the best tanks, compare to the worst tanks, lol I like skill, but that’s nonsense

just sick of this wargaming. bring overpowered tanks onto the market, you invest time and money on these tanks and then they are nerfed. it's all just mindless rip-offs.
Wargaming try not to ruin a tank that isn't even OP and it's purpose is to play hulldown. Most maps are city maps where u cannot play hulldown so this nerf is useless and they decided to be assholes. It would be nice if they were to nerf the Skoda T56, BZ-176 and other tanks.
@@tobiasL1991 which is the reason why many people leave the game. This is why there should be made a petition to nerf every OP premium tank. If not then everyone will just leave the game causing it to lose money, but ofc no one will do that because they enjoy trolling with OP tanks.
@@unittool2098 exactly, w those cases they js show that they want you to gamble your way on getting a new tank, meaning you'll get a new OP amazing tank and you'll be happy, so you'll do it again and again which means profit for wargaming
It is a positive change to me. Honestly tired of aiming at pixel cupolas. BZ is a premium so not likely lol. I am sure that 95% of people who bought that tank were seeking that dumb playstyle
