Mint Condition along with Tony Toni Tone were the two best R&B BANDS of the 90's. They weren't considered R&B groups like Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Dru Hill, 112, etc because they were a band. Prince actually tried to bring them on as his band before they came out on their own. The extended album version of this song is a monster. Make sure you download that version. The lead singer Stokley actually released two solo albums within the last 5 years. Check out his RU-vid page and the songs "She" and "Level". Mint Condition is different because it's really just Stokley singing lead. In those other groups, more than one person sings. And they don't play instruments like MC, so it was just about their voices. I would consider MC more of a band than a singing group.
