Having already got the Hulk, Pepsi and several other 'professional' models, I picked up my DJ 126234 (White Gold & Mint Green) two weeks ago. The 36mm wears bigger than its dimensions and looks the business. I understand now why it's called a Classic - this is a watch for every occasion!
Stunning watch. I was lucky enough to pick the same model up with no wait list not long after it came out. I loved it but it was just too flash for me and I didn’t like the attention that it got (I got more comments and glances at this watch than all my others combined since I started collecting 6 years ago). Sold it, made a nice profit and bought a 114270 for half the price.
That’s interesting. It’s one of the things I worry about also as you can spot it’s a Rolex from 100 paces, but this really for me is the most beautiful watch which I plan to get. I just don’t want to attract attention
I am currently in talk with my authorised dealer to buy my DREAM watch which is the ROLEX DAY DATE EVEROSE. The only problem is I have a very tiny wrist for a men and I tried both size and the 40mm is too big for me even so it's really a small price difference. I'm a little bit gutted because I love the dial on the 40. But I will probably take the 36mm next month when I arrive in Paris France to my dealer. I've already paid 95% of the watch. I am supper excited. I want to add that my first Rolex watch was a beautiful Date Just 36 with silver and roman dial. Classic and timeless .
I like it! I have a TT DJ 36mm with an oyster bracelet and white Romans dial. Thinking of selling and getting the exact watch you have. Can't decide btw fluked or domed bezel though
The watch does look absolutely lovely......(to be honest, I can live without the unboxing these days). I am now thinking that the Jubilee Strap has the edge over the OP bracelet. The OP is a little 'sharp' on my wrist and I find the additional flip-overlock totally unnecessary. The plus side is the 70 hour power reserve of the current Rolex line up.
Congrats. Beautiful piece! I'm interested in the same datejust but I'm not sure whether I prefer the jubilee or oyster bracelet. The oyster makes the watch feel more modern to me, but the jubilee makes it feel more classic. Decisions decisions 🤔
Prior to 2019, I was a huge admirer of the DateJust 36mm watch, but the revamping of the case shape, wherein the lugs and sides were redesigned, caused me to lose interest. The specific DateJust 36 Ref. 1162 that I saw in the Hodinkee video had much thicker lugs, and in my opinion, the newer DateJust models seem overly slender.
Dude.. you have killer watches in your collection. The Wimbledon & the Mint Green are two of the ones I want. The configurations are perfect. Fluted/jubilee looks fantastic! Please tell me you held on to the Wimbledon. I’ve heard that the Wimbledon is getting discontinued this year. Definitely a keeper.Congrats!
I don’t but I don’t miss it. Also the 36mm Wimbledon was recently introduced. Don’t think it’s going anywhere especially if the tennis tournament is still around
@@simplysergioo Yeah, you definitely have to be able to look down at your wrist, and like what you see every day. I’m hoping to acquire one or the other later in the year. That would be great if the Wimbledon stuck around longer. Keep up the good content. You’re doing great!
Wimbledon is the ugliest Datejust in my opinion. The color combo is a disaster, the greenRoman numerals look awful on the slate dial. Absolutely hideous of a watch
41 to big for most people. It looks like a dinner plate. Compare a 41mm datejust vs 40 day date, 1mm makes a big difference proportionally in my opinion
why asking which size it is if you already put it in the video description??? 41 is the more desirable piece and mint green is best colour u can get atm
@@simplysergioo that's great news! Hoping that the market is getting better. But I also know that you have owned other rolex's so that might have helped haha. I'll try to give them a visit. Enjoy the beautiful watch!!
I live in Toronto and was wondering if it is possible to walk into an AD right now and buy a submariner. That has always been my dream watch and I was thinking of getting it for a big milestone coming up in my life.
I LOVE your 126234. Im waiting for one... I only have 126613lb and im thinking to get a 35 tissot prx quartz Ive tried with datejust 41 Azzurro blue but It was little big Submariner tt and datejust 36 green combo IS my dream I like blue too but with the Bluesy I prefer Green Thank you I like your videos
Bro you've been at this for what, 4 years now? But your collection seems to be going backwards. You started off so strong with a sub but now you just keep buying random 36mm datejust.
