T-Mobile announced on March 15, 2023, that it had ACQUIRED Mint Mobile in a $1.35B cash and stock deal.
Mint Mobile is partially owned by actor Ryan Reynolds, the always funny spokesperson for the brand, so he’ll stand to make a pretty penny from the deal!
But for those of you unaware, Mint Mobile is a budget-friendly mobile carrier provider that offers data plans as low as $15/mo. This is a service that I’ve been using for about a year at this point and have had a great experience and have discussed a few times on this channel.
But in this video I’m going to share my response on whether I think this acquisition is a good thing or a bad thing for Mint Mobile customers.
