I wish I had a teacher like you. I'm an adult musician (music ed grad, piano, vocal, guitar) who is self-teaching cello in my retirement and get so frustrated since I don't have access to a live teacher. Made it to Book 3 Suzuki and working on Book 1 Position Pieces. Can you recommend other instructional materials? Thank you so much for your videos! 🙏
You are so sweet! Thank you for your kind words. I am so happy you find these videos helpful! 🥰 In book 3, I usually start teaching Schroeder’s 170 Foundation Studies. I would definitely start practicing scales without open strings! Hope this helps :) www.amazon.com/Foundation-Studies-Violoncello-Alwin-Schroeder/dp/0486842932/ref=asc_df_0486842932/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416747579000&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5317251467262003274&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032266&hvtargid=pla-904834595915&psc=1&mcid=e385f41c04bc3367b01da8bd43547619&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=95590145484&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=416747579000&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5317251467262003274&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032266&hvtargid=pla-904834595915&gclid=CjwKCAiAk9itBhASEiwA1my_68sX9q3jOtwRikE1_38tD-3jdx6Vx1eErIH9-5NN9MkeutXZRy-CkBoCg9IQAvD_BwE
