Wait. There's a minus world in Mega Man?

Yes

Sort of, in Mega Man 2 when you enter a boss room you can use Item-2 to glitch backwards through the boss door, and you'll screen transition into a different level but it has the tile palette and color palettes of the level you were just in. It only works on certain levels, and once you've entered the "minus world", you can't complete the glitched level. There's a similar thing in Mega Man 1, there's a part of Ice Man's stage where near the top of the screen, you can position yourself just right to jump up through the score counter at the top of the screen, and if you start pressing right and left behind the score counter, you might cause crazy things to happen. It might just restart the game and bring you to the title screen, but a large variety of other things can happen. I don't remember if it leads to any out-of-bounds stuff, but there's a chance you can spawn a Yellow Devil with glitched tiles and color palettes. It sorta just keeps its position as it follows you through Ice Man's level.

Prob. not since Mega Man uses a different memory setup and the Metroid secret world is a result of data compression
