Took my daughter to her first ever MLB game at MMP years ago when she was four years old. She called it "Mermaid Park", the name has stuck in our household.

is in my Top 5 ball barks: Oracle Park #1 Petco Park #2 Minute Maid Park #3 Coors Field #4 Fenway Park #5 Erik, Glad you liked the Bar-B-Que. One of my favorite places is "The Brisket House" in Bellaire Blvd. Best Backed Potato spud with 3 kinds of Sauce's and chopped Brisket and chopped Link Sausage on top of buttered/chived huge baked potato, is the Bomb for sure.

Nice vid. Thanks for the shot of the Astrodome. I went there as a seven year old the year it opened, happen to be there on vacation with my parents. That year they were trying to grow real grass and found out they couldn’t. Hence the invention of Astroturf. Somewhere I have some super 8 mm film of that. Your video has inspired me to find it. Brought back a lot of pleasant memories. Also, that’s where I learned how to swim at a motel near the Astrodome.

Lol, I remember going to the Astrodome to watch the Astros back in the early 80’s and my father would complain about how expensive the parking was. I think it was like $10 back then. He used to say “$10 for parking ! That’s highway robbery !” I couldn’t agree more.

Erik!!! Great video!!! Glad you liked the experience at Minute Maid Park. Although, I was rooting for my Stros to win, I am happy for you as a Giants' fan that you had the opportunity to see your team get a series win down here. You should have gone to the Medical Center area, which is close to the Astrodome. It's the largest medical center in the world. My husband and I were more than likely working at the time! We were not that far away. BTW, did you get to see the train at Minute Maid Park? It normally goes off when the Astros score runs. I meant to ask you about it last time. I was wondering if you were going to do a stadium review. I'm glad you did! We are planning to go to Globe Life Field when the Astros and Rangers play a series next. We've never been there, believe it or not. Thanks for the video! Great job! ❤❤

I didn't notice the train! Sorry I didn't to the Medical Center.. I didn't know yall were so close to the Astrodome.. but yeah the Juice Box was awesome!!

I haven’t been since the before time lol(2019) but I’m trying to take my kids this year for their first games. Good review from an out of town we perspective was cool. My wife always gets the ice cream in the mini helmet or the nachos in the big helmet lol
