Especially in terms of countries when it's people are divided in their views be it either religion or politics it can have a huge effect on the nation. Take a look at America they just had bombs sent to Democrats by a crazy guy who thinks everything Trump said is all truths.

He was able to make a decent amount of money and as he has said before he loves uneducated voters so being able to lie to them and having them believe them probably helps him sleep at night.

Well, that's what has been going on with RWBY songs. Monty, Miles and Kerry have already planned out the entire story before RWBY even went into a production and Jeff himself has said, that he uses his songs to foreshadow various future events.

@@davidb9124 with how Jaune's semblance being OP. I highly doubt he'll ever die this volume. Just imagine if he started using his semblance onto himself. He's already OP combining with everyone and with that scenario using it onto himself selfishly has a lot of potential to go.

The problem is Nora and Ren are done narratively their story's come to an end and one if not both are due a good death. Jaune is just a horrible character. But this season has been great so far

@@sreddi83 By that logic Taiyang is due a death necause he's no longer necessary for the main story. Whose to say they won't weigh in when it comes to other plotlines? And please, tell me why Jaune is bad? I don't get it. He has solid motivation, isn't a static character and he's not useless anymore. I'd have the show focus more on him than happy all the time, next to no development Ruby Rose.

​@@darknephilim3248 Because we've seen their (Ren+Nora) backstory and they haven't received any noticeable battle buffs AND each person in team JNPR are based on famous crossdressers who died. J = Jaune of Arc N = Nora/Thor died in Ragnarock P = Pyrrha/Achillies (hence the ankle shot during her fight with Cinder) R = Ren/Mulan commits suicide Jaune is a bad character because: 1. You put this Jaune in Season 1 Episode 1 and he'd STILL lose to everyone I mean he's the healer but he could show SOME combat ability. 2. His main thing was that he's meant to be the strategist but literally hasn't done any of this any "strategy" he's made could be done by any other character 3. He's not even likeable as a character. His creepy attraction to Weiss, he pretty much ignored Pyrrha till after she died. Lays the blame at Qrow or Ozpin when if he just WATCHED the door or CALLED Qrow/Glynda/Ironwood like Ozpin asked him to do maybe things would have turned out differently. Just generally blames everyone else always Not to mention he FAKED getting into Beacon in the first place and hasn't really done anything to justify otherwise. I liked Jaune in JNPR he played the "ordinary guy" in a world of crazies nicely but after Season 3 he could have just stayed at Beacon and nothing would change. Now Jaune from a narrative point of view has loads of coverage, we could get a backstory, an insight to his family, motivations etc. but just sucks as a character

@@sreddi83 ok, the crossdressing thing makes sense, but doesn't mean Nora and Ren have to drop dead this volume (and I'm assuming you're talking actual Norse mythology Thor and not MCU Thor). Also, have we finished their stories? Has Ren defended China? Has Nora been in a world shattering apocalypse? All signs poimt to no. As for Jaune, his attraction for Weiss died long ago and is no longer a thing. He was focused on other things and probably just saw Pyrrha as a very helpful friend or was too busy with his lack of self confidence to think she'd be interested. It's justifyable for him to blame them. He's a student, and wasn't a good one at the time. What could he have done? If he went after her there's be two deaths in JNPR already. Not to mention he's a defensive fighter. Unlike Ruby's beyblade impression he's not full offense, he's even support with his healing capability. Unfortunately most people don't give healers the respect they deserve. Finally, yeah, he lied his way into beacon, but Oz saw potential. His abilities have improved (you know, stopping ice queen from DYING) and he's continuing to improve. In short, he's not a bad character. He's a complicated one and most people need to stop looking at him and viewing him as the same vomit boy from volume 1. He's CHANGED. Which is more than can be said for little miss beacon of blinding optimism.

@@darknephilim3248 this show has a strange way of showing character development. It mostly shows what a character won't do anymore instead of what they will do in the future. Sure jaune isn't the vomit boy anymore, and yang has gotten used to having no arm, and weiss and Blake Almost got away from their past......but is that it......are they just gonna be like background characters providing the occasional commentary on the current subject? In the first volumes, the characters had clear personalities and motivations. But so far the characters feel kinda static when the show wanna get serious. Since we talking about jaune here, I say that him and his "team" have official demoted to "extra muscle".

That's probably because we got the Volume 5 OST almost 6 months after the Volume ended 😂

Yeah he lies, but he does it to protect the people close to him. Plus, he is human, even though he has multiple souls, so he isn’t perfect. Humans forget things sometimes and sometimes can’t remember every little detail. Ozpin is a good guy. Not perfect, but good

People might go back to trusting Ozpin after they see episode 3. I have and I just feel sorry that he was burdened like that.

@@danewood1115 The problem is not in Oz's hiding of facts, it is his constant lying about stuff that then get exposed as lies which destroys any trust or confidence Team RWBY has in him and makes them less willing to believe anything he says. I am not talking about BIG stuff like the story in Chapter 3, I am talking about the little stuff like not telling them that the relic attracts Grimm which puts them and LOTS of innocent people at risk, or that Jinn has answered her 3 questions for this century when it turns out she didn't. People who follow Ozpin understand that he has to keep secrets (Goodwitch said as much to Ironwood in Vol2) .. it's the unnecessary lying that gets exposed that undermines people's trust in Ozpin leading even people like Qrow and Ruby to question and distrust him.

"And we'll have to make a choice: Is this path right? Or is it made of lies" hits me more than that. This is some doubt that was briefly touched on in the Volume 2 opening, and with it being brought up again it really makes you wonder if Ozpin is truly who we think he is...

@@NamekianG well yeah, i mean that part too, i just didn't feel like typing out the full stanza XD but just the idea that "a reckoning" being near and hearing that "shhhing " of Ren's semblance and remembering what it took for him to find it, then the next lines being so self doubting, its oof-max
