I'm a sucker for the slower songs on this soundtrack, as I always am. This will be the last one I upload tonight, but I hope to have more out before I leave for RTX!! Song: Forever Fall BY: Casey Lee Williams
I just noticed Jaune and Pyhhra are very similar to ozpin and Salem. HOWEVER, jaune and Salem both represent the different outcomes that could have happened. Salem went mad with greif and was in denial which caused her to become who she in now while Jaune used pyhhras death as fuel to carry on for her. Both couples are like two sides of the same coin.
"Everyone is trying to be better than they are. As a result, I excuse every creep that cross paths with me. You better have me excuse you or I will rip humanity limb from limb". - Elegance girl
it also serves to parallel Leonard Church and Allison Texas from RoosterTeeths' other popular series _Red Vs. Blue,_ while Jaune is still saddened over Pyrrhas' untimely death the same way that Dr. Leonard Church was when his wife Allison died in the Human-Covenant War. The difference between the two plays out in that whereas Jaune is motivated to try and continue on and honor Pyrrhas' memory by moving forward to become a Huntsman worthy enough to save the day, to protect those that are close to him. Church is consumed by his inner demons that he constantly tries again and again to bring back Texas through torturing the Alpha (A Smart-Class UNSC A.I. created from the Flash-Cloned Brain of Dr. Leonard Church) and that it is because of the fact that no matter how strong he makes the A.I. body for the Texas's: they are *always* going to ultimately fail; because they are built off of his own memories of Allison who ended up dying and leaving him alone. Church consumed himself with his work to bring Allison back somehow in some form that he ended up alienating their own daughter: Carolina.
Ikr....when i heard this in volume 6, i feel like i heard this before and decide to watch back the scene before. It was their theme from the begining and that's why that at the volume 6 the moment where a leaf fall infront jaune, everybody knew it's about pyrrha. It became their symbolic.
Chapter 13 of Season 1 is also titled - "Forever Fall" So yeah.... this song is just beautiful that it actually brought me to tears😢 especially at that scene when Jaune was standing in front of Pyrrah's statue😭😭
Fun fact (or maybe not so fun): Rooster Teeth has let motifs out the ass throughout the series. There will be small, short chords played during certain scenes and when certain characters are on screen together all the way back in Volume 1 and it'll take several volumes, but eventually a relevant full fledged song will appear. Theyve done this a lot with Arkos as well as Weiss.
"Nothing even death could separate our souls" You see right here... this is where all the Arkos fans cried. Jaune better be the one to end Cinder in the end of the show to fully solidify him as somewhat the same equal as Pyrrha.
It just dawned on me, if Ruby and the Group find all four artifacts potentially they could possibly bring Pyrrha back from the dead... (those are magic of the gods... it's possible...)
@@andrewrogers3067 I mean if Jaune is going to die along with Cinder, I think that is a good way to die, imo. Avenging the death of a friend is a good way to die in the RWBY Universe. It also cements the fact that team RWBY is just the team with plot armor on their hands and what's worse, team JN_R has a good character development.
Hmmmm.... K.... Explain then, the rather mysterious circumstances surrounding her death. Why is it that she dissipated into sparkly mist energy stuff? And don't just say that's what happens when people die, because it clearly isn't. Why are her last words to Cinder "do you believe in destiny", almost as if she knows something Cinder clearly doesn't? Odd choice of last words, don't you think? Very deliberate. What is it with the fact that Ruby seems to be hearing her voice? That last one could just be a dream, but it certainly isn't a flashback, and the timing is awful convenient, isn't it (just so happening to have a dream that wakes her up right when Jaune is out practicing his skills as with a sword)? Hmmmm, all coincidences, you say? I think not!
"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee." - Pyrrha
This song, cold and wings are the ones that get me the most. Bless Casey for her voice and the music she makes. Rest In Peace Monty and Pyrrha they will be with us forever in our hearts.
Her Last line: "Do you believe in Destiny?" Her First line (I think?): "I don't know, I thought I'd let the chips fall where the may." I got this from someone :V but crap she was one of my Favorite ;-;
to me, this song all but confirms what I had assumed ever since, like, V2: pyrrha was struggling with depression, and she fell in love with jaune so hard because he pulled her out of it. not fully, mind you, there are clearly moments even in V3 that strongly imply to me that she is still struggling with self-worth and the idea that she doesn't deserve happiness, but jaune finally saw her as an actual person instead of a shortcut to success or an unreachable beacon, which helped others and, more importantly, her see herself as a person, and not JUST as a living weapon. source: bachelors in psychology + my own struggles with depression
Im guessing that being placed on a pedestal she didn't have many friends bc everyone thought she was too good to hang with them and all she wanted was a friend im sure she struggled with loneliness before meeting Jaune
I agree. Another thing that would solidify this theory would be the lyrics from "Shine." It's from Pyrrha's perspective towards Jaune. "I was cold in the dark,, it was empty in my life From the outside it looked so bright, but nothing felt right to me Like a sky with no sun, like a night that has no day My heart was eclipsed by the dark....." "When I needed a hero, you knew it and you were there And I'm scared but I'll open my heart up..." "I never really knew what love was for I dreamed, but never did believe," etc etc etc
Jesus her death and the amount of unfairness idk her death hits a but close to my heart..I just wanna be loved the way the loved each other so..I guess I can understand to some degree what that would feel like..idk I'm high XD
Just noticed that when pyrrha unlocks jaunes semblance you can faintly hear forever falls melody in the background which makes me think thats when she started falling for him
No she liked him the moment she saw him, the version of this song without words plays many times in Volumes 1-3 but only when Jaune and Pyrrha are alone together. It's their love song.
hy, sry but can u tell me which monty u guys talking about cuz i dont watch much cartoon i only watch avatar, rwby , my hero academia and one peice and dr stone
This artwork just represents for me what Pyrrha SHOULD have had. What Cinder took from her. Not just the maiden powers, but the chance to have a happy life.
Part of me wants Jaune to be the one who lands the finishing blow on Cinder when they finally take her down for good, just because of how much she took from them.
Yes. Oh, poor Jaune. Hey, looking at your name, Ship Master, do you ship Yang and Neptune? I know its a bit of a stretch, but I'm really not a huge Bmblb or Whiterose fan. I think the ship would be cute.
@@thislilkitchenmaid Well its always good to have youre own opinion and not just follow everyone elses all the time but me personally I think Yang is too much for Neptune, and with her awesomeness and his fraction of that, I think it would make for a good friendship and maybe after all this stuff finishes they could become best friends but romantically I dont see anything there, although as I said youre free to have the opinion that theyre a good petential couple in your eyes
@@shipmaster101 Yeah, I get ya. It is true that my Yang and Neptune ship is just me being silly and shipping two people. :P But your opinion makes a lot of sense.
@@thislilkitchenmaid Aww well your ship isnt silly, its just not popular and if you see some potential in it then fine, Im sure theres fanfics about it that youd like, so you can just take enjoyment out of that and the fact that thered be fanfics on it means theres at least a few others that like it too so you know
@@shipmaster101 Yeah, I think there are. I'm currently writing my own pic, and I only have an hour a day to write it though,....so as much as I wish I could check out those pics, I can't really read them. :( But thanks. :)
Jaune and Pyrrha's partnership was so solid that they had to make a song about it three seasons after Pyrrha died, now that's goals right there. It's good to see the show keep recognizing how much they meant to each other even though she's gone. Also when you think about it, at this point Jaune's kind of guaranteed to get a satisfactory conclusion no matter what happens to him. Either he continues growing from his losses to become the true hero Pyrrha always wanted him to be and finds closure and moves on, or he dies and gets to see Pyrrha again.
The scene where Jaune stands before her statue is the most beautiful in the whole of the series. I really wanted to know who the woman with the flowers is but I actually think that she may very well be one of the maidens.
Jared van Kell she’s either Pyrrha’s sister, mother, Pyrrha her self (don’t at me, I want her back!), but I like the idea of her being a maiden, What if she’s summer?
She's whoever you want her to be. Her character was someone we could relate to, or someone we could relate to someone we know/knew. You mourn her like a real person, because you know someone like her. The crew realized that after, and wanted to create a mysterious character, someone that you could say was whatever, so that you can find a way to cope. Such as she reminded me of my grandfather, who passed away a little before I watched the statue scene. He was heroic, religious, kind, however he got cancer for the fourth time, and passed. I imagined the woman as Pyrrha coming to say goodbye, and it helped me to feel closer to him.
This is it, the song that just allows the tears to flow. These are undeniablely the greatest of the RWBY tracks the slow tracks that just have her voice RIP Monty...
My ex died last year.. And he was my first love. Just the other night, I was listening to music while in a bad mood. For some reason, he came to mind, and I started having a panic attack, and crying. I realized that he was really gone and I’d never be able to talk to him again. But then the wrong song came on. I never heard it before. But, it came at the right time. This. My heart broke, but was also fixed that night.
Even though Pyrrha was an elite among the students she didnt flaunt it. She was a truely pure person. When I first started watching RWBY I instantly liked the serious within the first 10 episodes. Through the seasons watching Pyrrha and the others grew on me. I related with Jaune and Blake a lot. Both teams grew on me a lot. By mid second season I was fully about the series. When I saw Pyrrha unfortantely perrish I was heart broken i cried just like I did when I heard of Monty's passing. Rest in peace Monty and Pyrrha the world of RWBY and Remnent is in great hands Rooster Teeth will always have me as a loyal fan since first episode of RED vs BLUE, but RWBY has set that in stone. Dang it not again I'm crying again.
You know what always follows grief? Rage, rage enough to destroy those whom have destroyed her life. Rage enough to drown her tormentors in a cascade of tears. For the beating rains are always matched by the raging storm. -Thomas C.
Makes me think of the moment in season 4 where Jaune screams "How can you be so broken inside?" at Cinder. I really hope he gets his vengeance, we all need that closure.
I'm a 30 year old grown man. Pyrrha was my favorite/loved character ever, after 20 years of anime. I'll never forgive this show or forget the day a fictionalized character broke my heart. An now listening to this, I can't hold back ;_; Pyrrha was too good for this world.
I miss Pyrrah.. Rwby just isn't the same with out her, but then I suppose that was the point. I hope that one the relics has the ability to talk with the dead, or maybe to go back in time. Even just one more scene with her and I could be happy with that.
I don't ussually support the idea of bringing dead character back ; but i 'm 100% behind bringing her back, for a scene. We all deserve to see her once again ; despite already having some kind of closure with the statue scene. . .
Very nice lyric video! I love the background art and piece of Pyrrha you used. I recognize the art of Koyorin, but I don't recognize the background art. Would you be able to let me know who made it? Also make sure to credit them in the description!
My heart oh my never healing heart. It hurt in the show when this played and Jaune had his moment with the statue and her family/spirit. But the whole song the feels. Oh the feels. Pyrrha we miss you, we still miss you. And your still in our hearts and guiding jaune. ( insert more tears I will deny crying but did ) I love the songs like this that slow down and hit hard where it hurt. Let you feel that emotion. And maybe get a little extra hint at story. ( if Jaune is still so in love with Pyrrha maybe people can stop shipping him and ruby end sidetrack) but also like nevermore gives a further look into some Blake yang Adam stuff too.
"I wish she was right here"-Jaune "She is"-Pyrhaa's Mother Man this has tear me up from the start. Pyrhaa was great character in Rwby may she rest in peace. Forever fall is a sad song but it sounds calming.
For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and Unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee. Do you believe in destiny - Pyrrha asks jaune Not anymore because if destiny was real Pyrrha would have lived and we would have had 8 volumes of arkos
You may have been a student at Beacon, but you were a true Huntress at heart. Rest in Peace, Pyrrha. The fans of RWBY will always hold you dear in our hearts.
My bestfriend died from cancer, this song hits hard, but I know she live her life to the fullest and made memories while knowing she met the best people to be around with. An supporting her from the start to end..
Sorry for your lose. All you can do now is remember the memories you shared with her. Do your friend and yourself a favor that you’re gonna live your life the fullest and to appreciate every little moments. 💜
Honestly expected this song to be the big tear jerker for me, but, it actually made me feel better. Like closure for Pyrrha finally. I even had a smile by the end, I really didn't expect that. Indomitable, however, makes me cry like a baby...
Pyrrha deserved a better destiny than this. She shouldn’t have died fighting someone she knew she couldn’t beat nor had reason to fight when the man she loved was beside her and needed her more to help him escape the war-torn city and help those that needed rescue.
I cried when I first heard this in the show. This song is very beautiful and very sad. But I got to give RT props for creating some of the most badass shows I've ever seen and having badass music to go with it.🤘
I don't know what it is- maybe it's the combination of nostalgia, this piece, and the atmosphere of loss that the scene brings, but no matter how long its been, the scene with Jaune in front of Pyrrha's memorial always brings tears to my face, despite myself not being a very emotional individual. I don't necessarily think RWBY is a masterpiece, but it was definitely a piece of art, and one of the best that Monty brought to this world. This scene in particular was so excellently crafted, I still come back to it just to shed a tear again.
Newcomer to RWBY, so grateful to have found this beautiful song. Arkos was definitely my favorite couple. Pyrrha will always be with Jaune “forever” and I can’t wait to see volume 4 now. Such an amazing effect they have on all of us. Makes me wanna cry hehe.
Remember well the story of the justful spear and the impenetrable shield; it will make you realize things about the series you haven't before, if you watch it over again with this story in mind.
"𝘎𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘺, 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘣𝘺 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘭𝘢𝘸 𝘞𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘦." Rest in Peace, Pyrrha Nikos. You will forever be my favorite RWBY character. You were a Huntress, all right.
We all wish for a loved one to come back. Pyrrha is no different. But, I think Pyrrha is going to remain dead. It was a tragedy. A tragedy that can’t be changed. But, she isn’t really gone. She lives on in Jaune, Nora, Ren, Ruby, and anyone else she touched. She’s not gone. She’s just not here right now. You’ll know she’s there when you see a single 🍁
I wan to make this clear. Despite whatever crap people give the writing of this show, or whenever a fight isn't done well, we can all agree the music is always on point.
My list of top 10 songs that are gonna be played at my funeral: 1. Never forget (Halo 3) 2. Epilogue (Halo 2) 3. Ashes (Halo reach) 4. Forever Fall (RWBY) 5. Forever (RVB) 6. Don't Forget (Deltarune) 7. Order 66 (Revenge of the Sith) 8. Cairo Suite (Halo 2) 9. Outro (Drake) 10. Forever (Haroinfather)
Even before I watched RWBY I decided I didn't believe in predetermined fate, that destiny is the goal we set for ourselves. Thank you for strengthening my conviction Pyrrha. Thank you Monty.
@@diamondsky4909 Monty wrote the show, it was his idea. He was an animator too, but he was basically the creator. (his name will be always in the RWBY credits.)
Been thinking about subscribing for a while now. Then you go and drop THESE TWO songs on the day that the album goes public. Monty started something incredible with RWBY. I doubt even he understood or could begin to imagine that his show would help create one of the most Loving and Fractious communities on the Net. I had to wipe my tears, before I hit that Subscribe button, but hit it I have and I eagerly await your next work.
That song was played in Isabella's Redemption season 1 episode called "An Icy Wedding Reception" end credits. It's also played in Isabella's Redemption season 11 episode 19 the scene that when Bella looked at the picture of her parents wedding day. It's played in the scene of Isabella's Redemption the Ultimate movie.
I was just going through the RWBY music for the first time in ages. Then came across this one that I'd forgotten about for good reason. Here come the blues again. Its ok. I didn't want to feel good, anyway. 😢😢😢
Some people fall in love for life, others never get it right, loves fickle when it's all true. We are still young in this world but yet we never get to grasp on what we see in our eyes: it's love and it's stronger than hatred and we didn't get the chance to see it and feel what it's like
It still stings to me. Even after three years. The big question is in what perspective you gotta look at it. Via Pyrrhha, that is one way but you can look at it via Jaune. His destiny is to make it to the end. And what then? One end of his story.
"Some people fall in love for life. Others never get it right" I don't know why but it's always that part of the song that get's me to burst into tears.
