Supposedly in the Tom Hanks movie Sully, a lot of the actual conversations were used in the movie. If it is true, when the copilot at the hearing was asked "What would you have done differently?" and he came back with "I would have done it in July.", it was a total mic drop.
Thank god the lady at 9:40 mentions wearing natural fibres not Nylon or Polyester. In 1983 I was in a training coarse for air search and rescue ware we were told every time you set foot on an aircraft you dress to crash. That means NO pantyhose, NO Polyester, NO Flip Flops or Yoga Pants. In that training coarse one of our aircraft went down and 2 of the 4 on board were killed. A book was written about it called The Clock Watcher by Blair Farish.
This title only mentions Sully. MayDay has always had titles that relate to the video. I clicked on this video, expecting it to solely be about Sully. As that's what is mentioned. But there are multiple crashes in this video. The title should have clarified that
Well, the title is wrong. This isn't about the Miracle on the Hudson, it's about flight attendant training. It's still a great episode, but the title needs to be changed to reflect what the episode is actually about.
