My guess is that these aren't modelled because Gaijin doesn't yet have a way of implementing both small and large countermeasures on a single plane.

If they give it the correct amount of hard points and fix rendering issues on targeting pods it will be the best top tier ground pounder by a long way

Currently it's missing quite a lot of stuff. For some reason it can't use all its fuselage pylons for LGBs (a maximum of 6 small ones or 3 big ones + a targeting pod should be possible) and gunpods aren't available either (there's really no reason to assume the D variant couldn't carry them, there are multiple sources citing that twin-seat Mirage 2000s were cleared to carry either the CC420 pod in the wings or the CC630 in the ventral pylon). Also, as the other comment said, the rendering on the targeting pod is also a bit uncomfortable, I don't know how it is compared to the TIALD in the Jaguar

Tbh both Jaguar were already very good. The AS.30L is, 1 on 1, the best air-to-ground weapon.

Really smart actually. so much random stuff to get caught on with volumetric its just better to hit the ground beside tanks instead of direct hit.

I think it's because he use a 1sec fuze on his bomb, personnaly, I love the GBU 12 and never had a crit with it when I use the impact fuze. This bomb it's super light, so she can glide on a very long range ( 12 km easily)

Don't worry isn't the first time that a leopard or a Abrams substitains a hit from my Kab500l. So don't worry there isn't Russian bias 😉

@@yanngall7078 I have experimented with this a lot, especially with the GBU-12. I'm talking about hundreds of cases. The result is always very random. With a 0 second fuse, the bomb can explode on contact with a machine gun on the tank roof, or on contact with the gun barrel. With a 1.0 second fuse, the bomb will often fall to the chassis, or remain "stuck" to the hull of the vehicle before detonating, and that is the best chance of a successful hit. Especially in Russian vehicles where the munition is low in the hull and the crew is close together. I assume that's why Hunter was aiming close to the vehicle at 4:21 (weak armor and ammo). The 1.0 fuse, however, makes it harder to lock on to a moving target, of course. The gliding capabilities are amazing...it's just a shame that vehicles usually can't render that far.

Yeah man, and after Gaijin nerfed all bombs pen values zero second fuse can result in a "hit" even if the used bomb was 2000lb GBU-8 .. that's why I was planning to let the bomb bounce on the vehicle and explode on ground toward the lower parts of the hull, nice to see you my friend Sgt. Down :)

France is one of the biggest producers of armored fighting vehicles yet they never get any stuff in patches.

Same exact thing with Britain, they’re missing so many modern IFVs it’s generally sad.

@@OiOi-Jim I just use the VFM 5 to get my Gr7 in the air which is still better than France or Isreal that have nothing. A warrior or stormer with the dardo hitfist turret would be nice.
